| Posted: 12 Dec 2019 11:44 AM PST I have nhl19 and often times when I'm bored I go in and change the active roster by taking a bunch of players that I like regardless if they're good or not and put them on a team with a coach or jerseys that I like. I then create a franchise save file under this roster and play some games with my custom team. I've always wanted to have some old guys like Selanne, Jagr, or Gretzky on a team and play with them. I'm wondering if EA added old legendary teams like NBA2k does, or if there's at least the option to download custom rosters from other uses like in Madden. Thanks for the help. [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 12 Dec 2019 10:50 AM PST Make a category/menu where you can easily browse the stuff you have unlocked. Any jerseys you've unlocked, just go to that tab. Don't make it where you have to go to jerseys, NHL, each team, etc. Just have your home and away tabs that contain a simple already owned tab so you can view everything at once. Including one for each type; pants, skates, sticks, etc. [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 11 Dec 2019 09:40 PM PST This is just a thought but why doesn't EA let us the players change a players age? For example Joe Thornton who is 40 years old and is 1 to 3 years to retirement. His age could be changed to 18-20 years old so he could be used a lot longer in franchise mode. I don't see any reason why they wouldn't let us. Posted: 11 Dec 2019 03:19 PM PST I'm in the second round of the playoffs with my Nordiques franchise against Tampa Bay. 2-2 series and it's been a tough series. I lost both games fair and square and I won both games fair and square. Low scoring and lots of hitting. Very tight series. I start up Game 5 today. Game starts off the way the last 4 have. Very tight. They scored first and then I tied it. I then scored 3 in the 2nd making it 4-1 going into the 3rd. This is where the funny shit happens. I'm on a PK. They take a point shot and I block it. It flies up in the air, lands on the goalie's head and trickles into the net. I started laughing. Their next goal was similar. They shoot it, bounces off the goalie and goes into the air, lands back onto the goalie's back and trickles into the net. 4-3. 2 minutes left. Kucherov cuts into the slot with a back hander, bounces off the goalie and trickles into the net AGAIN. Oh boy! Tie game 4-4. 1 minute left. I take it up the ice and set up an absolutely gorgeous one timer for the lead. 5-4. The very next play after the face off my team takes a hooking penalty. I'm thinking "They're going to tie it with their first shot if I don't prevent it". Sure as shit they win the draw, one timer from the point and in the net. 5-5. Overtime it is. Right away they take two back to back penalties. This is my chance. CPU says: Not today. Every shot I took either hit the post or the goalie made the most incredible save imaginable. This is how the rest of the game went. I must've hit the post 10 times in both OT's before the CPU won the game in the 2nd OT. It was one of the most scripted, rigged games I have ever played. I should've won that game easily being up 4-1 in the third. The goals they scored were BS to begin with and then every shot I took either hit the post or the goalie made a massive save was just absolutely unreal. I'm not crazy am I? What makes this more screwed up is I have my gameplay sliders set to take away the CPU's ability to pull of miraculous bs yet in those two OT periods, they only seemed to affect my time and the CPU was invincible to it. Hitting has become getting piled by the AI from point blank vs you having to skate the rink just to move someone and getting a penalty, and the penalties themselves show the devs know fuck all about hockey. EA needs to just can the team already so a real company can pick up NHL. [link] [comments] |
