| It seems like the goalies are worse this year as opposed to last year Posted: 12 Jan 2020 10:13 AM PST The new animations for the goalies is cool and what not, but I played a lot of NHL 19 and am starting to play NHL 20 more, and I've noticed they'll stop the hard shots 9.5/10. However the easy ones like guy-is-on-the-left-and-the-other-is-on-the-right-pass-and-shoot. 7/10 it's a goal. Hell even I can do it and just wait until the last second and each time it's a goal. That's how I got four points in my debut. Admittedly Bob isn't having a great season for the panthers in real life but shortly after me being placed down in the AHL, He's still allowing an average of 5.6 goals per game. When i was in Florida for my short time period, he was getting slaughtered on the easiest shots. Mind you I ahead of time knew that goalies situation can be weird so I boosted up his rating to a 92 overall. It hasn't helped. Obviously since this is Be a pro mode I can't control the goalie without being a goalie, but my god man. [link] [comments] |

I just faced Team Switzerland and I've seen teams with other country jerseys and they still say "Senators" or "Penguins". Anyone know what I need to change to get him to say the team name? Is the game the same price in the USA/Canada or is it cheaper there? If there's any european here do you have a website where you normally buy NHL for a lower price? | Weird roster issue I ran into in franchise mode Posted: 12 Jan 2020 09:53 AM PST So I'm in the first year of an expansion franchise. I've traded a ton of players for picks and prospects so my team is near the salary minimum, made worse by a few injuries. Eventually some of my players get healthy and I'm told that I need to send someone down because I'm above the roster max. But every time I try and send someone down it says I can't because it would put me below the cap. The only option I'm left with is to let the computer do it. Luckily they send down the guy I wanted to send down anyway, but then it goes ahead and changes my lines. Has anyone run into a similar issue? [link] [comments] |

For example Yutaka Fukufuji was 80 overall in the PC version of NHL09 (as he was an NHL goalie for a moment), but the best Japanese player in NHL20 is 61 overall. The worst is 43. [link] [comments] |

| Any tips for developing young players? Posted: 12 Jan 2020 10:59 AM PST I just finished my first season with an expansion team. We were the worst team in the league but I gave a lot of ice time to young players. I have an 81 first round pick defenseman with Elite Med potential who didn't produce that well but had a lot of ice time and he went down to a 77 in the off season. Most of my young guys only went up a point or 2. The only guys who went up more we're guys in the low 60s. Am I missing something that would make my young guys get better? [link] [comments] |

Posted: 12 Jan 2020 08:55 AM PST I am going to admit I usually play right wing mixed with playmaker, but this year I wanted to try and play offensive defensivemen I got sent down even while i led the team in points (which is a first.) I kept getting shitty grades for things that were outside of my control. For example, I'd come off the bench and as soon as my feet touch the ice they're on an already odd man rush, and if they score I get odd man rush and bad line change. How is that my fault? Or when we can't score I try to run and my players constantly block me from trying to get back down to the ice. It sucks but i'm now in the AHL. If I do well can I get back this year? The Panthers are constantly sending down and bringing back Toninato. Or am I stuck in the AHL until next season? If that's the case I'll just make a new player. [link] [comments] |
