    Ultimate team Skill-based Matchmaking?

    Bought NHL today and was wondering if I have a chance in UT? I always play UT in all EA games but km late to this game. Does the game have Skill-based Matchmaking?

    If I win with 10-0, will I face a harder opponent to match my "skill" or is it completely random?

    Does it filter by team overall score?

    Does it filter by divisions and random players from that division?

    Got 5 hours until the game is downloaded! Cheers!

    Can’t hit the goal

    Hi! This is my first nhl in a long long time and I'm really enjoying it. Currently playing a season on pro difficulty and 3/4 on the "realistic" scale. I tend to get a lot of penalties because I have not gotten the defense in full control yet but otherwise I'm doing ok - still loosing most games but not by much. And here lies one of my biggest problems, I can't seem to aim. Either I miss the goal completely or I hit straight at the goaltender. I also have a tendency to shoot over the goal. So my question is, should I use the assist where you see a line for where to shoot or will this hamper me learning in the long run?

    Broken shit game

    So made it through all the games on be a pro, got through preseason and the game will not start, just stuck on the jersey select for the CPU team, won't let me go farther, reset the game, still won't let me play the first game of the season.

    Nhl 20 online Slanted ice- computer assist-momentum. Call it what you want, it's ruining nhl20 online

    If you play online ranked vs as the same team, you'll notice a massive slowing down and or dumbing down of your artificial intelligence after a series of games. Sometimes the defence will throw themselves out of position, other times you'll never pick up loose pucks. Other times the opposing goalie will make saves that are incredible, multiple times a game. Or worse yet, your players, on what should be a classic 2 on 0 will not go into their normal positions.

    I've read a lot of different posts, but most relate to the hut game mode. For the record, I don't play that and this post isn't about that. This is strictly online play.

    I have a friend who's in the top 200 ranked players and he's aware of this "computer assist" - "tilted ice" - "momentum" garbage. If you play regularly it's easy to spot and feel.

    What I'm upset about is that ea has chosen to do this behind the scenes. They haven't told anyone how it's calculated. And rather than just let the games happen, they clearly have a system in place to try and make games, even against someone 100 rank points ahead of you, competitive.

    You're not alone. You're not crazy. Anyone who says this is just a feeling and it doesn't exist, doesn't play enough to notice and or isn't a consistent enough player game to game.

    Have you experienced this...?

    It's real. It's dumb. It's horrible.

    Have you won in NHL Threes on pro? Is it possible and how much practice does it take to get that good? I know how to shoot, pass, where to be in ice and I use skill stick. I just feel like I’ll have to practice for hours to get that good to beat it.

    I drafted a med elite lw sniper from Russia with the #8 pick with my Seattle franchise. He was 81 at the time of the draft. 84 by the season and 89 by the beginning of the next season. It seems his lower accuracy and power from his wrist shot made him outside a top 5 pick. I find it hard to believe 7 teams passed on him. He was the only player north of a 80 overall taken in the first round. I think he's given me hope with drafting other Russian players. I've always had bad luck with them. I tried to post a picture but it wouldn't upload.

    I haven't played NHL in a couple of years. But now that I'm back I'm just trying to feel my way through franchise mode and figure things out as I go. You guys have any tips or things that might not be obvious to maximize my players and draft picks? I'm currently in my first season of an expansion team.

    Is there a way in be a pro to make it so the opposing team scores more often during simming shifts?

    I really enjoy playing be a pro, but it has a lot of flaws and I'm wondering if there's a solution to this one. I play on All-Star difficulty and my team always ends up winning like 6-0 or 6-2 and I average 2 points per game so my teammates are scoring during simming but the other team isn't. This bugs me cause we win every game and it's the same thing every game, I'd like to lose sometimes.

    Tips for dumping contracts in franchise

    I'm playing as the Blue Jackets and I'm trying to get rid of Brandon Dubinsky'a contract. 2 years left at 5.85mil. His trade value is basically zero and I'm out of ideas. Is there anything I can do or do I have to eat it for 2 seasons?

    Franchise mode games or games in general?

    I'm sure this has been posted a bunch but I just wanna know if anyone has had this same issue as me.

    Basically I'll play two periods perfectly, maybe giving up a goal or 2, and then the 3rd period comes, and every other shot seems to go in for the opposition. No change in style defensively either between periods. I just wanna know if I'm bad, or is it something with the game.

    It's not really fun when you do everything you can, and it then feels like ea basically says, naw, you can't get shutouts or allow a couple goals, it's always 3 or more
