Franchise - How do you weight your team around a franchise defenseman? Posted: 05 Jan 2020 06:12 AM PST So I'm playing an expansion franchise and I got a defenseman who looks like he can be the future of the NHL based on attributes. Year 3 of his career he has great puck control, skating, passing, stick checking and like 95 in every shooting attribute. Franchise rated player too, so he just keeps getting better. Currently a 91 overall. How do I weight my strategies/coaches/whatever to make my team lean on this guy as much as humanly possible? I wanna see if he can be a 100 point D because his offense is just absurd. I'm going to double shift him on the powerplay, so that's a start. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 05 Jan 2020 08:12 AM PST I'm playing be a pro and it's pretty fun, I am wondering, is there any way to line change before the coach calls for it? I want to get the bonus to team play but no matter what button I press next to the bench my guy won't get off the ice. Is it possible? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 05 Jan 2020 11:20 AM PST It's about 50/50 chance this game freezes when loading into am online game. Is there any fix in sight? Been like this for over a month. Havent won a chip in a week solely because it never loads 3 games in a row. How does a 15 year old technology fail so regularly? Wtg EA [link] [comments] |
NHL 20 Franchise mode - coach wanted a new defensman Posted: 05 Jan 2020 03:31 AM PST I have a strange problem in NHL 20 Franchise mode. I got a message from team's coach that he need a new defensman, so I traded new defensman from other club to my club, but then coach said that I did not buy a new player. Why? Is there any tricks how to trade players? I exchanged one young defensman for other one from another club. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 05 Jan 2020 08:34 AM PST So I'm playing be a pro on the bruins, and our goalies are Halak and Legace? Wtf happened to Rask? Is there any way to trade for him? [link] [comments] |
Expert tips to take my game to the next level Posted: 04 Jan 2020 03:20 PM PST I feel like a pretty decent player. 82GP online versus I've got a record of 67-15-0. I'm above average atleast. So what I'm looking for is some kind of tips to work into my game. I utilize a lot of saucer passing, puck chops, puck protect, poke check, stick lift, board tie ups. I'm straight up terrible at scoring breakways though (6% success rate), my faceoffs are 64%, and I'd say one timers are my primary method of scoring. I'd like to get better at picking corners. Sometimes I can hit them but it never feels like I know exactly what I'm doing correct so I just sort of shoot and hope for the best a lot of the time. Is there some secret I'm missing to snipes? Angles, how far you need to pull the right stick back. More specifically I'd like to know if there's any secrets on where you need to be aiming the left stick for snipes. I've spent tonnes of time in free skate trying to find sweet spots but I've had not much luck. Another thing is vision control. I know how important this feature is and I'm (very) slowly getting better at incorporating it into my gameplay, but still I feel like I'm pretty awful at it. Any kind of tips or secrets regarding vision control would be amazing. Some other things I wonder about is line changing and strategies. Should I be line changing on the fly? Currently I pretty much only switch up my lines between whistles, but should I start to learn to change mid game? Same thing goes for strategies. I will change strategies sometimes between whistles, but do pros switch up strategies on the fly too? Anyways if you can think of any other helpful things leave a comment. I also have tonnes of video footage of my own gameplay. If anyone wants to watch and analyse my play that'd be cool too. Thanks ! [link] [comments] |
Question on SBMM in online versus: ranking higher leads to more and more sweating? Posted: 05 Jan 2020 05:09 AM PST I only play online versus and am with a score around 700-730 probably a bit above average, but far from expert! I guess I reached a plateau because I currently can't get much higher. But I tend to stop playing as much as in the past due to SBMM combined with ice tilt in some matches. At least every second game I start these days is an opponent who sweats. It isn't about jumping in a game and having fun anymore but rather hardcore sweating. Games are often decided by pure luck or ice tilt which sucks in my opinion. I get pissed more and more by playing these matches and it kills my fun with the game. I wanted to know if you experience similar things? To everybody with a score above 800: does it get even worse? Do you still have fun or do you rather play for a challenge? I love the game and probably won't stop playing but I feel like I have to cut it down for the next few weeks. [link] [comments] |
How/When can you wear Alternate jerseys using your EASHL team? Posted: 04 Jan 2020 06:19 PM PST Title says it all pretty much. How/When can you wear the Alternate jerseys using your EASHL team? I can make them but don't see an option to wear them. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 04 Jan 2020 04:12 PM PST How do I invite someone into a game session to play against me? It's really not clear at all. [link] [comments] |
