    I'm so sick of Slater and Murphy. Any time the team has an odd man rush or one-on-one with the defense, Slater/Murphy just sit there and they don't even try to poke check, body check or stick lift. They just let the opponent pass by for an easy goal and it's screwed me over more times than I can count.

    In the middle of an online game I lost because it got stuck on this screen. I could hear them score while it was stuck here...

    How do you beat players who rag the puck in OV?

    I can't stand how easy it is for people to kill a penalty or protect a lead by ragging the puck.

    What's the most effective thing to do in these scenarios? Is it just to switch the forecheck to full attack and hope for the best?

    Hope you are all well during these bad times.

    I started playing a be a pro career during my stay at home, got drafted 1st overall by NJ Devils. And they are really treating me bad lol, but I don't want to be the guy who demanded a trade. So, when my rookie contract is over, can I go as a free agent, or is it like FIFA and you automatically get a new contract?

    PlayStation Mega March Sale - Going to try NHL for the First Time in YEARS

    Yes! I was hoping we would get a sale on this game soon. $23.99 and I have a $25 psn card burning a hole in my pocket.

    Can't wait to rebuild the Red Wings.

    Haven't played an nhl game since 04. I'm all about my sports sims lately. This one was next in line.

    Any advice? I plan on doing offline franchise mode. I'll sim a lot of games, do the management stuff, and jump in for crucial and playoff games.

    Are there options like NBA 2K's Simcast where it shows the clock ticking down with plays and such going on and you can intervene whenever you want?

    What the fuck are my scouts doing?

    NHL 20 franchise mode.

    I have 2 scouts for every CHL league. Usually start off with scouting the top ~150 players from each league. After that, I'll go back and scout anyone with elite potential. I'll have one scout for Potential and Comparison while the other does a Skills Assessment.

    I keep updating about every 6 weeks during the season. These guys will scout players 3 or 4 times each, and when I double check it before the draft, every guy is medium potential with one bar of confidence. The scouts are rated A or A+ for the region.

    What the fuck are my scouts doing? How do I get them to actually reveal a player's potential?
