    Are there any good Franchise Mode guides out there?

    I mean a guide with stuff like everything that goes into line chemistry (not just scheme fit but also player type, what combos of player types works best, etc.)

    and especially on special teams, because from experience player types do matter on special teams and i can't figure out what combos work there except on the PK: TWF-TWF and TWD-TWD

    anything to help with this would be greatly appreciated

    A trend i’ve noticed

    Many times an online quick match the person i'm playing will be down one or two points and then just go completely afk, is there no abandonment timer in this game? i'm getting tired of running around for three periods waiting for the game to end.

    What's that little moves the AI is making to get the puck?

    Ok guys this is a gameplay related question: At first I played on Pro and found it way to easy so I switched to Allstar. At the moment that's the perfect difficulty for me, but one thing the AI does really bothers me. It's how they get the puck in tight and close situations. I know 3 ways of getting possession: Pokecheck (R1), Sticklifting (X) and Hitting. When I have the puck in tight situations it's like the AI is doing little pokechecks all the time, sorry I can't explain it better. Is this a special move or something? Because if I would be poke checking as much as the AI does I would get penalties all the time.

    I hope you can understand what I mean.

    Wouldn't it be neat if there was Miracle 1980 WoC Weekly Challenges?

    Just spitballing here as an avid NHL game player and first time r/EA_NHL SubReddit poster, but It would be pretty sick if EA rolled out a weekly group of chel challenges in which a few of the claimable items included -Jim Craig's famous mask with the clovers on the temples -USA Mike Eruzione Jersey -Blue stick with white and red striping like the jersey with "1980" Printed on the side

    This is meant to be a discussion between the community on an idea i thought of a few minutes ago. 2 issues i immediately noticed though were the vintage goalie masks were cut out of the game for some reason, and EA seems to not like singling a country out (other than there being multiple Canada jerseys and apparel in the customization options with a lack of USA representation).

    (Also, yes i know. Everyone wants them to fix mechanics and physics more than add more customization but i would've loved to see this before Snoop jerseys) - Thanks, E.

    Sorry if this is has already been discussed i am new here, but can someone help me understand why every other team in my franchise mode is allowed to be millions over the salary cap while i cant even make a trade because it will take me over the cap NEXT year? I dont see any logic in this at all, what the hell is going on?

    EASHL World Gaming Championships?

    Just an idea, but wouldn't the World Gaming Championships be better under EASHL? You could do 5 v 5 team play so only AI is on computer. The rosters are somewhat even based on player type and user skills. It would be cool to see customized teams from around the world.

    With the current HUT way of the tournament, you find the same players/strategies being used by users. Also I know it is a cash grab for EA too incentivize players to buy their own packs and build their team.

    I have zero interest in the gaming championships now, but actually would if they were EASHL teams.

    How to activate CHL players?

    I'm trying to bring some of my signed CHL prospects onto my AHL team. There's two that are under contract, 20yrs old, and have already played 4 CHL seasons. It is september in the game as I am just finishing the offseason and am getting to be able to edit lines for the first time.

    Does anyone know how I can get these two on my AHL team?

    With the NHL season on pause, can injured players be added back to the lineup in Online Versus?

    Title says it all.

    I'm a Penguins fan and would like to have Guentzel, Dumoulin, and Marino in the lineup. It's getting old having to do a complete makeover for my lineup before every gaming session.

    Dumoulin and Marino have both returned from injury prior to the season going on pause. There's no excuse for that one.
