    Couch play draft champions?

    Posted: 01 Apr 2020 11:57 AM PDT

My brother and I wanted to play draft champions vs each other cause it'd be a cool way to play against eachother rather than head to head Play Now. Does this exist? It should

Does anyone know the list of songs that are played in the arena (prior to game, faceoffs, etc.)?

    Posted: 01 Apr 2020 11:39 AM PDT

I've found the playlist for the game menu soundtrack, but I'm curious if anyone knows the names of songs played over the speaker in the arena. I appreciate any help. Thanks!

Was online versus ice tilt tuned up after the last update? (Slight rant)

    Posted: 01 Apr 2020 12:18 AM PDT

To those that play a lot of Online Versus, do you feel like ice tilt has been turned up? I'm not complaining about losses that's not what this post is about. Actually, my wins lately have been even more frustrating. Dude I just played outshot me 24-9 and I beat him 4-3. Two of the goals were slap shots from terrible angles (looking for a rebounder) and they just went right through the goalie. Another goal was him trying to pass it out from a save and my AI just skates by and pokes it in all by himself. I had one legit goal the entire game. He was getting all sorts of slot shots and one timers but Crawford was diving all over the place making incredible saves. Even though I won, I just felt like it was given to me based on some algorithm. I've been on the other end of it too. This isn't how I want to win or lose games. I'd rather lose every game if I'm outplayed.

Anyway, I know ice tilt has been talked to death here. Just wondering if others think it was turned up after the last update or if I'm just being a whiny bastard.

Slapshot issues (how do I train this bad habit out of me?)

    Posted: 31 Mar 2020 08:26 PM PDT

So I've been playing quite a bit and the funny thing is the more I play the more I have issues with my shots. I find as my opponents get harder I'm taking more angles to the net and as such my brain is automatically wanting to adjust the angle of the shot stick to match my angle of entry. As a result I usually get a pull back on my slapper but it ends up a fake shot because I bring the right stick forward and about a 20-25 degree angle instead of 0.

I setup some training and watched the replays and confirmed I'm definitely angling my right stick subconsciously when I come in at an angle.

So... I noticed in the settings there is a setting for shooting control (either "always up" or "camera relative") - unfortunately after trying both I have the same issue with both. I guess my camera angle is not changing enough to alter what the stick would consider a "good/straight shot".

So the question I now pose to the community is this... how can I train this horrible habit out of me? I am having a lot of trouble scoring goals because of this shot issue and would be amazing if I could figure out a way to train it out of me. I've been doing shooting drills in the 1 on 1 trainer and I am guessing this is the only thing for it in addition to lots of games but if anyone else has had this issue and overcome and/or has other suggestions for ways to train my brain into doing it the correct way I'd be very appreciative.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Draft crash

    Posted: 31 Mar 2020 11:32 PM PDT

Anyone else getting it where the game crashes during the draft? Five times now I've had it (not in a row) where it's crashed during the draft not during my pick but on the pick following. Very odd

Generally, responsiveness aside, I don't have any issues with crashing except this?

    Anyone else feeling the pain?

Relaxed, for-fun (not league) PS4 club looking for more active members

    Posted: 31 Mar 2020 02:39 PM PDT

    1. If you already have a club or are in a league, don't bother. We need people who want to play with and join this club as your priority club
    2. Must be willing to play multiple sides of the ice and/or positions, no position hogs (unless you are a full-time goalie, which is fine)
    3. No bigoted/racist/homophobic nonsense
    4. Personal stats are secondary to game fluidity, no puck hogs
    5. Must always have a mic available
    6. Must be chill/easy going. No drama
    7. If you "only play 6's" or "only play 3's", don't bother. We play both
    8. This is a long-term, yearly club
    9. Must play at least a couple days/nights per-week, depending on your situation of course
    10. No quitting club games (unless the goalie is getting shelled and has had enough - goalie's choice)
    11. Adults only
    12. Initially you will be added to a club tryout chat, then added to the regular club chat if you officially join the club

There are 9 (4 to 5 active) members right now and we're simply looking for more active players to play with on a consistent basis. We play 6's whenever possible and 3's when there aren't enough for 6's. All new members will go through a trial period. We will be competitive, but geared more towards having fun. We are definitely a later-in-the-day, nighttime team. Message me or comment if interested.
