| Posted: 09 May 2020 11:17 AM PDT My biggest point of contention with the EA games in recent memory (other than the ever frustrating and seemingly random poke check trip mechanic) has been the library of jerseys. I love to see the evolution of the sweaters, and IRL collect any cool ones I come by. It just feels to me there are large gaps in the choices of jerseys, and some really iconic ones are straight up missing. Personally, I'm a Buffalo Sabres fan and yearn for the black and red variations. I really enjoy being able to pick the orangier "buffaslug" sweater in current games, but the late '90s and early '00s big buffalo head (or better yet crossed sabres) just looked so slick. It's been odd to me that they couldn't "license" these jerseys from the teams, and yet 2-3 very minor variations of the same jersey exist for multiple teams. More specifically, when I fired up the old ESPN game I was greeted to; the Gorton's fisherman, the angled Flame's mid 90's jerseys, the Canadiens' one year globe crest, the Kings' "Burger King", the 90's Blues' jersey (which was finally brought back in NHL 20 since the Blues wore it as a throwback), the alternate Kachina, the triangle Penguin, the lighting storm, the list goes on and on. I know the jersey request's been brought up before, but it bears repeating! I also understand that keeping track of the jerseys for all of the international and minor league teams adds strain to the process. Given how many things are just cut and paste from previous years, the game mechanics seem to always be a point of contention, and new game modes just get boring, it'd be nice to at least have the aesthetics be a non-issue. (Even though it's sooooo enjoyable to hear the same stadium music for the last ever...) /s How do you feel? [link] [comments] |
| New to World of Chel and have a small issue Posted: 09 May 2020 01:41 AM PDT Nephew and I have recently gotten into NHL games with 19, and now 20, and we just started World of Chel for the first time tonight. We started playing ones elimination and my nephew ran into a game where two people stayed at 6 goals and refused to finish the game and kept checking/tripping him. He was unable to end the game except to quit because they refused to score and finish the game. Is there something he can do if that happens again or are we just at the "mercy" of these trolls? | How sad can people (YuhBoyCent_TTV) be? Posted: 08 May 2020 04:10 PM PDT Went to check who are the top players in shootout. Saw this unbelievable record of 228-2 by YuhBoyCent_TTV. He's top 3 in leaderboards and gues what tons of games with fake accounts (the accounts only have games against him). Also looking at one of them you can see he has gone from Cr 817 to Cr 1041. Considering you can get 1 or 2 points at best for with that's at least 70 games that day. [link] [comments] |
| Two player, same screen, off-period, how to shoot? Posted: 09 May 2020 11:52 AM PDT When playing two players on the same screen on opposite teams, one player has to go "down" the screen. I can't figure out how shoot/score when heading down-screen. I try the wrist shot flick of the right stick and it always whiffs. Is it really a flick of the stick toward the net so I need to flick the other way during the 2nd period? Is this configurable? Is the best solution buying a second Xbox so me and the kids can play always skating north? [link] [comments] |

It's not showing my points updated(I was trying to get the pts for the challenges) and it's like the game was never played?
