    I play fairly good in HUT and other modes but as soon as I play 3s in the smaller rinks it's just me getting hit sticked over and over again. Any tips? Same case in world of chel. The rink just feels so small.

    Question about SJS alumni team.

    So the official Sharks NHL20 alumni team they were using for the e-sports tournaments and whatnot were using the alumni roster but with some players that aren't actually in the game (cheechoo, Irbe, etc). Does anyone know where we can find the templates/ratings for some of these players so I can create them myself?

    This is my last 4 games. I quit! I can understand having a goalie steal a game from time to time as that actually happens, but this has turned of off from wanting to even consider future games.

    Tips For Adjusting Sliders?

    Hello fellow CHELers, I'm looking for advice on adjusting sliders in franchise mode for my ideal play style. As of right now I'm playing on simulation, 8 minute periods and superstar with the difficulty slider on 2/6 but have tried a ton of combinations from pro to superstar.

    I try to get the game as realistic (which for me means trying to limit things like superhuman puck control and agility, creating more separation between bad and good players and just generally trying to cut down on things that aren't realistic like players being able to intercept passes they're not looking at) and competitive between myself and the CPU as I can get. I try to keep things like shot totals, hits, faceoffs, powerplays etc reasonably even.

    The main problem I have is as I adjust to try to make the game more realistic, the CPU gets easier and easier to play against because they don't seem to have the programming to ever adjust how they play. An example being I decrease puck control settings to where pucks occasionally wander off sticks and bullet passes are harder to connect on but the CPU still insists on rifling a hundred D to forward to D passes in the o-zone before ever attempting a shot. Another thing I'm struggling with is making the CPU more aggressive. They ever try to push the play no matter what difficulty I'm on, don't go for hits despite having aggression set to 100, don't challenge zone entries, etc. Has anyone found any slider adjustments that reliably increase the CPU's shot frequency or aggression?

    Why is this happening in online (frustration)

    Flaired for 'rant' but I'm also asking and if anyone has the answer it'd be appreciated.

    I play most regularly between be a pro and season mode, and I flip flop between all-star/super-star depending on how well I'm performing. Things are mostly (read, 50/50) good about the game in my eyes. Oh also, PS4 player here

    However, I've been playing a lot of online with my friend in the game and I swear it's like the game just ignores my input half the time or doesn't let me do things I normally can.

    Examples:

    -Hitting: When I go to line a guy up for a hit, I can do it without much problem in season/BAP. When I try to line my buddy up, it's like my player just skates around him despite where my controller input is pointed. If they do make contact it's often just a bump, not enough to take him off the puck, or both players will just kinda glide together but he'll still have full control over his movement and the puck. Meanwhile, he's just laying my guys out all over the ice.

    -Passing: Half my passes either go in an alarmingly different direction than I aimed, or it just simply doesn't pass, which is incredibly frustrating when I see a player open for a 1T so I aim, fire the trigger and flick right stick (no problem doing this in my main modes) but online they'll just do a "pass shot" which basically wastes the scoring chance.

    -Speed: this one blatantly annoys me and I don't have any plausible explanation. I'll have a pretty fast player (ie Nathan Mackinnon) on a clear cut breakaway and yet despite me clicking L3 for the extra speed he won't speed up and buddy's players will just come out of nowhere from the other end of the rink and negate the breakaway.

    Inb4 "bro you just suck" I'm in no way claiming I'm an elite player, but I'm far better than my friend and in any case I can usually consistently win on all-star so I wouldn't consider myself bad.

    Maybe it's all in my head or maybe online changes mechanics I'm not aware about, but does anyone else notice this?? It's getting frustrating trying to "play" the game when the game doesn't seem to want/let me to play it.

    Also for the record, these problems don't crop up consistenly (but are prevalent more often than not) which makes it all the more noticeable when they appear.

    When I'm playing hut, something really weird happens. Whenever I score a goal, the game audio cuts out for a few seconds. It's only when I score, no one else. Anyone else have this issue?
