| Coach Mode in Franchise Mode (semi serious suggestion) Posted: 20 Jun 2020 09:12 AM PDT Instead of only watching a cpu vs cpu simulation we should have tha ability to be the coach. Ability to challenge goals. Change lines and yell at my players or the ref. I want the ability to tap my players on their shoulders after doing something good out there. Giving them a small morale boost. In the long run it all gives the coach and player chemistry a boost too. [link] [comments] |

How is possible that there is Red Dead Redemption 2, with extremely epic graphics and textures, working perfectly. Making sceneries, water ski like tons of animations and everything... And then, there is EA, billion worth company, making profits from - digital copies, copies, freakin millions from HUT CARDS,which costs them nothing. Just graphic logo of the card and coding predefined abilities to the player... Like... They really cant afford to make fkin stadium and 10 players on ice looking incredible in2020? I mean, ps3 games look like nhl 20... This is billion dollar company...they can afford to even fkin code perfect coding and trajectory for a spit coming from players mouth during play... They just won't...better ignore playerbase.. and make new gambling bundles.. I will never understand this [link] [comments] |
| I have a suggestion for franchise mode Posted: 20 Jun 2020 11:04 AM PDT When you move your team to another city they should make it an option to keep the uniforms and logos the same instead of trying to copy and fail miserably at recreating the uniforms. | How does Drive the net trait work in EASHL? Posted: 19 Jun 2020 06:16 PM PDT Does anyone know exactly when this activates? Other than the obvious driving the net when you come in the zone hard. Does drive the net trait activate at other times in the offensive zone? What if you're circling around in the zone, will it be active since you're near the net? Mainly wondering if this might be a good trait instead of marathon as a puckhandling pwfd who uses his big body to move around in the offensive zone until he finds a passing lane, or if it is only useful when actually entering the zone and driving. | Just a stupid customization rant or question. Posted: 19 Jun 2020 11:34 PM PDT So I remember back in September the True helmet came out. About 2 weeks later EA added it to the game. Will we ever get a new update. CCM Axis has since came out, as well as Warrior G5's, and the new Bauer Supreme. It bothers me so much that once the gear comes out we don't get it in game. I play as goalie so this really irritates me. Another thing that irritates me is that we can't even choose what skates we use or if we want big or small shoulder pads because some lines of goalie pads are smaller and less blockier then others. Skates aren't really a big deal but it would be at least nice to have an option of cowling or not. Lastly sticks. I always play as a full right goalie and 99% of the time all it does for sticks is turn them around. You hardly ever even see the front graphic when you play as a full right. And with the Bauer pads how you can't even make them colored. It's so annoying. [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 19 Jun 2020 04:46 PM PDT Now I know that I can't speak for the entire community on this, but it feels like we are being neglected. I know u/CopyingJax made a small post about it but I wanted to go into more detail. The "Feel Next Level" video that EA revealed at EA Play Live was a huge smack in the face to NHL fans. I have played since NHL 13 was released and honestly ever since NHL 14, the game hasn't gotten any better besides the custom arenas and better graphics, but quite frankly the graphics haven't changed since NHL 16. We all want Frostbite Engine, Madden has it, FIFA has it, but of course we wouldn't have it because who cares about us? The more I think about it, the more I get upset because they just don't listen. All EA Sports cares about is HUT, which some people may like, but I don't and I know that a good majority of the community doesn't as well so why is that all EA focuses on? Be a Pro is in dire need of a revamp, Winter Classic mode needs to come back, and Franchise Mode is getting useless features that I usually don't even use. Not to mention that GM Connected disappeared into thin air and was never spoken of ever again by EA. So where is the attention for NHL that we want? Will it be any different this year than 20? Will it really be a $60 roster update with a new person on the front? I'm going to be honest, I haven't played NHL for over 4 months. I've gotten tired of doing the same thing over and over again. My friend also stopped playing too because there's just better games to play. If NHL 21 really isn't going to be any different than NHL 20, then I seriously will not get it, I've had enough. I've sucked EA's dick enough and I'm done with it. 2K needs to take over, unfortunately their hands are going to be pretty tied up with an arcade football game in the near future and the PGA game that's releasing soon, so that might not be an option. What can we do to get EA's attention? I've tried to contact support but honestly that doesn't really help. So since the NHL awards are cancelled, when are we getting the teaser trailer? The same day that it would've been on? Seeing EA just take a shit on this game is very infuriating, especially since the community wants change, but they don't listen. They're almost scamming us now, saying it's a different game and finding something to call "revolutionary" but nobody can find the real difference. Honestly I've played both NHL 14 on my 360 and NHL Slapshot on my Wii more recently than NHL 20. NHL Slapshot has Peewee to pro and yet on these much improved generation of consoles, and a new one right around the corner, we have downgraded in game modes. We all know that EA has the money to give NHL a higher budget. I can't wait until the Xbox Series X comes out so I can play NHL 14 on it since it has full backwards compatibility.
