    After playing NHL for decades one thing I have come to realize is I don't think I have ever seen an AI controlled player do a check. Whether it is on my team or my opponents I have never seen the AI check anyone.

    Maybe I am wrong and just missed it but I swear it has never happened

    How do the gems work?

    Didn't play 16-19 but back in for 20. It looks like in NHL 19, there was a literal gem/bust column so self-explanatory. Now, occasionally I see guys with gem images during the draft and I'm always sure to grab them.

    That said, I distinctly remember grabbing a player with a red gem...does that mean he's a bust? I normally see green ones.

    How do I import custom sliders in be a pro mode?

    Made the template in main menu settings. How do I launch a bap with that saved template I made? I couldn't find the option anywhere.

    Either BAP GM AI is really stupid or my pro has really bad attitude issues behind the scenes

    This all happened in NHL 19 by the way, I didn't buy 20

    Had 74 points in 68 games as a defenseman in the Q in the draft year (2019), but somehow fell all the way down to the middle of the 2nd round where my pro was picked up by the Ottawa Senators. Fast forward a few years, my pro is 23 and put up a 76 point season as a defenseman and won the Norris. Next season after only playing 18 games with Ottawa, he gets put on waivers at 90 overall and claimed by Pittsburgh, then goes on to become a franchise player and win the cup with them. Out of all the be a pros I've done, this one was pretty extreme, but does anyone else have any stories of bad gm ai?

    Be a Pro broke?

    I just completed three long seasons in be a pro. I was drafted #2 to the Flames. I went to play my first pre-season game and the camera immediately sits at center ice and doesn't move. My guy never plays. I quit the game and try again. Happens again. I then check the Flames stats and I'm not on the roster. I get an update from my coach saying that based on my performance, I won't make the team. Unfortunately coach, I think I'm already not on the team. What the hell is happening? Am I missing something or did I just waste three years in this mode for it to break the moment I got to the pros?

    Xbox One controller durability/recommendations for a new controller

    Hey I know I've seen other posts like this but does anyone else's left stick break after a while? I've had this happen on all my controllers and want something more durable for NHL cause admittedly I do press the left stick in pretty hard out of habit. Could anyone recommend a controller that might be more durable than the standard Xbox One controller?

    Is there any reason to aim 5 hole in this game?

    I aim there when I'm close to the net or on a quick one timer but nothing ever gets through the goalies legs. Only time it does get through is on deflections. Is it just unuseful to aim through the wickets?
