Posted: 17 Jul 2020 09:26 PM PDT I'm a WWE fan, and there's a saying that goes "see you next Monday?" Meaning that everytime raw or a PPV ends, everyone complains non-stop but is always there to watch the next Monday. And that's how I'm feeling about EA NHL. Im 33, I've owned every single EA NHL game since 1992. I have never played a game less than NHL 20. But every now and then I watch some highlights, or I think about my Jets and I want to play again. And every time I remember why I stopped playing. I fire up a game and I watch CPU Adam Henrique bounce off a Byfuglien hit like it's nothing and maintain puck possession. I watch a Laine slapper get blocked by a defenders stick on the backhand and fall immediately into full CPU possession instead of deflecting. I watch a rebound lying on the goalies back teleport into his glove instead of rolling away. And so I finish the game and I turn my PlayStation off saying I'll probably never touch this game again... And then I'm back a few days or weeks later having the same dialogue in my head... Anyways that's my rant for now, hoping that 21 might fix some of the errors that have plagued NHL since the jump to PS4/Xbox One and knowing that they won't, hoping they'll finally add some features that other sports games have had for 5 years and knowing that they won't... But anyways, see you next Monday? [link] [comments] |
