    BAP Goaltending, Suggestions to improve by me.

    Aside, from the usual stuff that gets people upset in BAP, the Goaltender gets an extra dose of problems specifically: the coach doesn't give any on-ice challenges; but I am going to simply suggest ways to add to the current stuff with goaltending to improve the gameplay experience.

    1. First and foremost I find that having automatic saves costs me more goals than they should, although I owe a lot of my saves to these, they're usually what keep me out of position for my rebound control. I would like to press rb/r1 to stop these from occurring/finishing essentially to speed me up so I can cover faster. I know that's what desperation saves are for, but these just open up the net for the other opponents circling their OZone. I just want more control on what my goaltender is doing and not rely on automatic saves. So that if I press and hold rb/r1 the shot doesn't make me do anything, and whether it saves is whether it just hits my stationary goaltender. Not that these are taken out of the game but that I can control when I would like them to not happen.
    2. Next I would rework desperation saves so that if rb/r1 is tapped while using them, the goalie does a flop, falling down and getting back up which ends up a faster recovery than fully performing the save (ideally used when the puck carrier fakes the shot). So that rb/r1 is essentially a cancelation button. If the desperation save cancel is followed by hitting triangle/y it will do the flop but will also be a falling cover, staying down on the ice, and onto the puck trickling in. Then also can use the right stick to snow angel when in this state.
    3. I will also replace square/x and down from being a spread eagle since down on the left stick feels better and we don't really need two of the exact same save; replace it with the splits save animation falling backwards on his rear. I also would upgrade spread eagle so that pulling back on both sticks enters the scorpion stance.
    4. I would add in a few desperation saves: Circle/b and up would be a flop dive, where you dive forward onto the top of the crease, covering the top of the net first then the bottom afterwards. Very risky but it can also stop cross crease passes to the slot if timed well, or if timed well it can stop one timers to the top shelf, or if fully finished can stop low shots by landing on the belly (this then goes into the same position as spread eagle after a full use). Down and Circle/b I would make a fall onto the back on command. This will save pucks trickling pass and also give you better control on the recovery on the rebound. Pressing triangle/y on either of these will cover the loose puck.
    5. This next part is more so for BAP, I'm tired of being picked on for every GA. There should be forgiveness on the Goaltender and any negatives halved if: a) the goal happens during the PK, b) the goal happens off an one-timer in the slot, c) the goal occurs on the breakaway or the odd-man rush or d) turned-over in the defensive end. Also if any of these are saves and prevented goals they ought to give extra Teamplay score, Teamplay shouldn't just occur from skating to the puck, covering on the rebound, and/or doing good passes; the team relies on the goaltender when they make mistakes, being big during misplays should be rewarded and failing on them shouldn't be met with exactly the same harshness as every other goal against.
    6. Lastly, in BAP I would like for the coach to give me challenges like he does the players, at the whistle he can say: I want you to make the next 5 saves, or I want you to keep the puck out during this PK, or keep the puck out for the remainder of the period, or I want you to poke a little more (do 2 poke checks)... etc. etc. (BAP is exactly on the path to be what we want, but ultimately we want someone to put some soul into it)

    TL;DR : I want to have more control in the net so that I can freely change to different saves and not wait for animations to finish before I can recover; recover manually. I want the BAP aspect to be more forgiving when the goal against is more so the fault of my team and not the goaltender; but reward the saves when the fault of the shot is due to my team.

    Asking EA for online multiplayer on NHL94 Rewind all cheeky like

    NHL94 Rewind is a fantastic product, but I'm sure we can all agree the omission of online multiplayer is quite a disappointment, especially in the middle of a pandemic where we're all supposed to stay away from each others couches.

    I submitted a cheeky bug report on the EA forums about this. No idea if it will make a difference, but a few voices joining in claiming they have the same problem would be frantastic!

    Something that really annoys me

    Im playing franchise Modus and drafted artu räty. After 3 years he Got an overall of 87 with his best season (57 points). So im trying to sign him and guess what. He demands almost 11 millions. What kind of garbage is that. Sadly this happens too many Times. This really needs to get fixed.

    Fighters name glitch

    I don't understand how this game has been out for almost two months and the fighters name glitch has not been fixed. I pretty much play HUT only and the glitch where the fighters name will not disappear after initiating a fight is getting so annoying. EA is ridiculous, this can not be that hard of a fix. I am just so shocked how much they don't give a f**k about their customers, I've had every nhl for the past 10 years and all they care about is $$$. Fix the issue jesus

    Franchise Sim Settings

    Hey everyone I was just wondering what the best and most realistic sim settings (sim engine scoring/ Shooting engine) settings are. I put attribute effects to 10/10. I want guys like McDavid to be able to crack 100 points easy but without absolutely obliterating all my goalie stats. Has anyone tried high sim scoring and high shooting? Medium scoring makes it so that only 1-2 players get anywhere near 100 points (and usually not even McDavid) but high scoring always wrecks all the goalie stats and gives low 80-overall players crazy high numbers too. I need the most realistic sim settings possible to enjoy it. Please and thanks.

    I have recently started playing goalie on overhead as the BAP camera just seems so hectic. The game plays and feels so much more smooth for me in goal. However I would love to be able to lower the cam just a little and tilt it so I can see down the ice. None of the cameras for goalie are great so just allow the user to decide.
