    I can't believe how stupid the mode is.

    You easily reach gold legacy in your rookie year, but can't retire cause of course you have to "play" 25 seasons before you can retire. So this is were i started simming through the mode and it gets worse from here.

    My 96 rated RW/C Sniper struggles to get regular 40 goal seasons cause reasons.

    In year 7 they filmed atleast 3 (tbh i stopped reading wtf my agent is telling me) documentaries about my life, wrote 2 biographies about me and i switch my hockey gear brand for a new unknown brand more often then others change their underwear.

    Also of course no team want to sign a 96 rated player longer then 2 seasons at 10-11 million (god damn it some 80+ players demand more in franchise mode).

    Then there is your overly attached girlfriend ehm teammate, not 2, not 3 or a group of them exactly 1. And in case he switches team he is no longer in contact with you and get replaced by the next best guy.

    Also i love how 80% of the skill tree is useless cause you easily max them out playing. And the other 20% are absolute necessary cause you can only raise them with training and cam only lose xp playing them (i am looking at you puck control and durability).

    Which brings us to all the fantastic fancy stuff you can buy with your hard earned money, cause of course they also become useless quickly and just help leveling up fast at the start and after that sound nice in theory but don't serve any purpose. Yeah *1,07 more brand is exactly what i need on a stat that is so fast maxed and kept their that you never will look at them again.

    Whoever designed the mode, did he even play half a day to check if all this stuff really works or just sound cool in the commercials?

    Anybody have this issue in be a pro for nhl 21:

    It has come to the playoffs of my first year, and all off ice interactions have stopped coming up. No interviews, no player to player interaction and no coach interactions. And that like radio styled comuntry has stopped As well. Were in the third round and nothing at all has come up.

    Cross crease passing

    I've owned every nhl since 94. 21 is by far the worst. Only ever play online vs, never eashl or career modes. Only about 10 games in and have seen approximately 80% of goals against as cross crease passes. Some of those legit chances but most right through defenders legs to a wide open net. Anyone else come across this? Or am I missing something on some sort of new defense tactic

    Not seeing the newest update on Xbox

    Hello all, I am seeing a lot of people post on the subreddit showing off the new update that brings with it all the reverse retro jersey. Unfortunately on my Xbox it is not showing that there is an update available for the game. And the reverse retro jerseys are not in the game for me. Is there anyone else who does not seem to be getting the most recent update yet?

    I Googled it before and I saw some stuff like "lol you're not gonna take the spot from #1 center"

    Like, in previous NHL games, I centered 4th line and made my way up. Playing RW and never having control of the flow of the game is absolutely driving me bonkers. I lost my position to another rookie (Laferriere).

    Anybody know how many games of this BS I gotta deal with before I can play my position again? This is super irritating. I'd rather center 3rd or 4th line than play 2nd line RW and watch my C lose every single face off and then I get yelled at for not generating momentum.

    Also does the AI ever get less stupid? I'm tired of watching everybody skate into the opposing team dman just to get stripped. And the opponent stick check is insane. Ugh.

    Am I missing something? I can't seem to build a third D pairing with decent chemistry in Franchise Mode (NHL 21)

    I'm starting to get really annoyed. My Balanced coach's strategy for the third D pair is "Hold Line/Balanced." I've tried maybe six different pairings in the past two Franchise years, to no avail. I'm always getting either -1 or 0 chemistry. I've tried two two-way defensemen. I've tried an OFD and a DFD. I've signed players where it literally says "Fits in the following lines based on our Coach Toby Shannon's Scheme: - Defensive Pairing 3," and then when I put them in my lineup, THEY DON'T FIT THE DAMN SCHEME. Am I doing something wrong? Is there some sort of glaring problem that I'm not seeing with the players I'm choosing? Is there any way I can see a player's Hold Line/Pinch and Cycle/Shoot Bias preferences before I sign them, draft them, or trade for them? Someone please help me. This is extremely frustrating.
