| Grass isn't always greener..... Posted: 18 Jan 2021 08:21 AM PST So, like some few others of y'all out there, I went back to NHL 20. I play entirely solo/offline/career mode, and as we all gripe about, BaP in 21 is wonky. Well, 20 still has its share of oddities. Just saw my worst ever case of ice tilt. I'm having a great game with my ENF, shoveled in a garbage goal off a rebound early in the 1st. We manage a second goal in the 2nd. Up 2-0, and coasting home to the win. I come off the ice with something like 40 seconds left in the game, thinking it's in the bag. Wrong. While I'm on the bench, my opponent rips off 2 goals before the end of regulation, and it's off to OT. This does have a silver lining though - in OT, I get the assist on the game winner, giving me the Gordie Howe for the game. So all ended well. Tl; dr? I think sometimes we gripe so much about the current iteration of the game that we forget that it's always been this way. [link] [comments] |

| A wish for NHL 22 Franchise Mode. Posted: 17 Jan 2021 09:11 PM PST I've been a Franchise Mode player since 17, and it's been ok. It's been basically the same the entire time, even with the addition of coaches and chemistry. Idk what they can add to make it better, but I have 1 hope. Even with the Assistant Coach editing lines, I want to be able to make my own lines. I don't care if an 87 guy has better chemistry on the third line, I'm not gonna put him on the third line while I have a 83 overall on the first line. And I hate that it keeps changing it. Edit: I am well aware I could just turn off assistant coach edit lines, but then I'd have to deal with injuries manually. Having to edit lines every 15 seconds while dimming gets old really fast. Especially when you have an "injury prone" player who will get a 2 game injury every other game. [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 18 Jan 2021 09:22 AM PST Are there missing prospects in this game? I jsut picked it up and am starting a Sabres franchise. I can't fine Ukko Pekka Luukkonen in the system. Seems like a petty big oversight since the Sabres have a lot of hope pinned in him. Am I missing something? [link] [comments] |

| Help a new player out: Player in collection can't go into team Posted: 17 Jan 2021 07:53 PM PST Hey guys, I'm completely new to hockey (I decided to pick the Avs to support irl based on logo, name and colours and then realised they are favourites for this year lol), but since I've just moved to Canada, I figured getting this game would be the best way to enjoy and learn about the sport a bit more. I got bored during tutorials so I decided to get my HUT team started. I ripped the starter packs and got that 2030 Noah Dobson card. I have no idea if that's any good or not but he's obviously way better than all my starter players but I can't seem to get him in my team. When I press 'remove from line-up' for someone, he's not an option to replace? He's in my collection so I'm guessing he's not a loan card or anything like that. Does anyone have any ideas how I can get him in my line-up? Am I doing something wrong? Apologies if I've been a complete bot about this, I've played hours and hours of FIFA Ultimate Team so I'm familiar with these menus etc. but I couldn't figure out how to do it! [link] [comments] |
