    1. Winter Classic with 2 random teams, first example of a former feature now removed

    2. All star game, why was this removed? It went from playable to non-playable to removed

    3. Free agency day needs a mini game like the trade deadline. Guys don't take 5 days to respond to an offer before completely declining and signing somewhere else with zero negotiations

    4. Record book is broken. Only lists stats of players currently on the team. I'm 10 years in and my career wins leader is thatcher demko with 10 because I signed him that year.

    5. Add each seasons teams stats to the record book. Why was this not added? Lmao

    6. Preseason games are still useless since overalls don't update until game ~7 of the season. I can't even use preseason to see if my young players are ready to make the team because I have no idea what their overall or stats look like. It should be something like 4 preseason GP to get 3/4 on the overall rating

    7. Player overalls for growth should update before the season starts, not at 7 games in

    8. Offer sheet players can't be traded for a year

    9. Players claimed on waivers can't go to the AHL lol

    10. Make goalie coach an actual role, not this half assed position where you overpay someone who wants to be an assistant to do it

    11. Sim engine on medium still destroys goalie stats, vezina winner has a .902

    12. Shooting stats for created players are out of control

    13. CHL top prospects game, another removed feature

    14. Top 6 forward potential actually developing, there are no RWs in my 10 year save outside of guys who were top 5 picks

    15. So many TWF and TWD that don't get +5 for who knows what reason

    16. Rookie solo warmup lap shouldn't happen in game 1 of the season

    17. 3rd line LW gets the cup passed to him first? Why?

    18. Banner raising, another removed feature

    19. Custom Playlists, another removed feature

    20. It would be cool if sometimes random players took less instead of every dude demanding their exact ask

    Maybe more unrealistic

    1. Do an "international tournament" every 4 years where the highest overalls from each nationality are put on a team. Can be copied from the tournament mode already in the game. No Olympic licensing needed.

    2. Do the exact same thing each winter with young players "Prospect Challenge" or some shit since no WJC IIHF licensing. Have me be asked if I want to release my top prospects.

    Ok, I know this question has probably been asked 100 times but this is driving me crazy. When I play online, the other team just skates right through me and around me. When I have the puck I don't even get close to doing that. I get hit, poke checked, can't skate around them. Always. They poke check everything and the second I try - penalty

    Maybe they aren't using the user control on the puck?

    Any tips would be great. This sucks

    I can’t play Be A Pro anymore

    I can't play this game, it's so terrible.

    Recently I started a goalie Be A Pro. I'm a couple weeks into my first season in the NHL, as the back up for the Yotes. I've started to get interviews and meetings with my coach dogging me when we lose when I'm not even starting. I'll sim games when it says I'm not starting and then coach tells me I'm not playing well enough after we lose, I don't get it.

    It's even started to give me challenges like, "Win the next game and have no worse than 1 goal against" for games that I'm not starting, then I get dogged my coaches and media when my team gives up more than 1 goal. This is embarrassing, please fix your fucking game EA.

    Equipment Options

    Do any of you people remember when you had the option to change a sticks flex or your skates radius? They even had different stats for what you chose.

    And on top of that you could choose to try them out and rip around the ice with obstacles or view your shot speed and accuracy. There was even the option to skate around when editing a player and try out what they played like.

    I remember this was on old gen consoles and I know it was in 14. I'm not even going to ask why it was taken out because I know but it's something I thought of and how it was a pretty neat feature.

    At this point in the year how many would recommend getting nhl21 or just sticking with 20? I mainly play franchise.

    Is NHL 21 worth it?

    I've played every NHL game since 06 and buy it every year. Been dragging my feet picking up 21 due to some reservations I had about 20 and how EA doesn't change much year to year. So I had some questions for people that have played already:

    1. Be A Pro is the big upgrade this year. How is it? Is it fun to have it more realistic or does it just boil down to a bunch of stuff you're clicking through?
    2. Is poke checking still basically an automatic penalty like it was in 20? Absolutely hated that...
    3. I've heard the AI is better on 21 in the sense that breakouts and passing are easier. How true is that?
    4. And just do you guys like it? Is it worth taking a shot on?

    Sorry for the lengthy post I just know how mixed the reviews are and these are the things that were holding me back. Appreciate any responses!

    NHL 21 Roster Question

    Hello all, I'm new to NHL 21 and Reddit, so this might be a dumb question...I'm trying to do the "Play Now" mode in NHL 21, but I can't get the rosters right.

    For example, on the Lightning, they traded Paquette and Coburn, and Kucherov is on LTIR...players that will likely be on the ice for Tampa Bay tonight, like Volkov, Joseph, Foote, and Rutta are not available to dress...so am I forced to use the outdated rosters until EA updates them? Or is there a way that I can add players like these to the roster?
