Total newcomer to hockey - How easy is NHL 20 to play as a newbie?

    Posted: 25 May 2020 11:39 AM PDT

I'm a total newcomer to hockey. I'm from the UK so we don't get a lot of it here but its a sport that i've wanted to learn more about for a while, would buying NHL 20 help educate me enough? Is it user friendly for noobs like me that know nothing about Hockey strategy?

    NHL 17 help

    Posted: 25 May 2020 09:28 AM PDT

Ok, something weird is happening in my franchise. I suddenly can't keep the puck out of my net. I haven't changed any settings, but all the sudden, every shot against me goes in. Last game, I gave up 6 goals in 11 shots. My goalie ended up saving the last 7, so 6 in 18 is how I finished. He started by allowing 5 goals in 6 shots.

Next game, he allowed 3 goals on 4 shots. It's very odd, because they all aren't break away, or whatever. They are often broken plays that always end up in the net. This isn't just the last two games. But the last two have really amplified it.

    Whats going on.

    Franchise mode draft help!

    Posted: 25 May 2020 11:10 AM PDT

As someone who enjoys a realistic experience, this game sucks. So i have a couple of questions I hope this community can help me with.

    1. Is there any easy way to ensure that the draft order is similar to real life? For instance, I am playing NHL 19 and would like the 2019 Draft to be like it was in real life, however, I cannot ensure the teams get the correct picks, but also, the game still generates very highly rated custom players which prevents Jack Hughes and Kaapo Kakko from being the first two picks.
    2. Is there any way to prevent the game from generating highly rated, high potential players for the first few years of the draft?. I like to create players and make the drafts as realistic as possible and then the game generates a bunch of prospects and completely ruins any work I do.
    3. Is there a way to force trades like in other sports games like Madden or NBA 2k?

I appreciate any responses I get to my questions.

My club had some bad luck over the last two days. Gave up a weird OT goal, then my friend "whiffed" on what would've been the game-winner

    EASHL game doesn’t count glitch

    Posted: 24 May 2020 08:37 PM PDT

Was playing vs 2 guys in 3's last night. I won't say how i think they did it but they made the game not count after we won. I recognized the center. His name is xxbluntz88xx. Not sure on the other guy. But if you see that psn I would just leave the game since it's either a loss or you just won't have the game count anyway so no point
