Be a Pro "Sim Penalty" is broken Posted: 18 Aug 2020 06:45 AM PDT I always leave the sim penalty off because I like to play every 5 games or so to keep my players career progressing, but I somehow just got sent to the 4th line as an 86 overall player all while scoring over a point per game. I started the season on the 1st line. What is the point of having a sim penalty option when it isn't driven by statistics when it's off? The AI in this game is laughable. [link] [comments] |
If you use the All-Time All Star team in ranked, you're a tool Posted: 17 Aug 2020 01:16 PM PDT Guess I should be happy I only lost 3-0 with the Stars but shit that team is STACKED. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 18 Aug 2020 11:11 AM PDT Haven't hopped on the ones in a few months, noticed there have been a few gameplay updates. Are they toned down, or do they still dominate [link] [comments] |
New Player from NHL 06. How’s the new games? Posted: 18 Aug 2020 10:04 AM PDT Normally I wouldn't trust EA with anything after seeing that abysmal Madden 21 reveal, but I heard from some people that NHL 20 might actually be good. I'm waiting until 21 comes out before I make my decision but if 20 sucks despite all the changes it's added then my decision will be easier. Essentially to be good it just has to have a deep franchise mode, a lot of other modes like create a team and a lack of emphasis on Ultimate Team [link] [comments] |
Tripping without even touching him Posted: 18 Aug 2020 09:14 AM PDT |
Posted: 17 Aug 2020 10:25 PM PDT Ping seems to always be very high in the 3rd and Finals matches. Does anyone else experience this? [link] [comments] |
Does the intro skip for anyone else, because of the ”Select sides”-screen popping up? Posted: 17 Aug 2020 03:51 PM PDT Apparently this was already a reported bug in NHL 17.. yet it still exists. How difficult can it be to fix? I think it only occurs if you start a game and have turned on the controller while in the menu, and not before starting NHL 20. [link] [comments] |
Question from new drop in player Posted: 17 Aug 2020 06:28 PM PDT So i was playing drop in and we were tied 5-5 in double OT. This was my third game ever and I am wondering why i never invested time in this. Seemingly good teammates, everyone was playing good... Was having a great time...even got in that lean forward chair position. So we're on a rush and other guy made a move at blueline and i went offside. Whatever.... Except all of a sudden i got a message saying I'm being a bad teammate and was kicked out of the game. I could understand if i took two penalties and a bunch of offsides in a period.... This was the fifth period of the game. I was so mad, and then saw none of the goals or assists i got counted or my challenges. Can someone explain these rules. This seemed so absurd. I had two tripping penalties in the game. Is it like a three strikes you're out or something? Is an offside a strike? So confused... [link] [comments] |
Signing on as someone else on PS4 Posted: 17 Aug 2020 04:07 PM PDT My friend and I play NHL 20 and he is more of a defender. I'm more of the goal scorer. Since this week's 3's goals gives you 1,000 points for 15 goals, I wanted to help him out and play as his character while he plays as mine. Is it possible for me to log-in as his character on my PS4 and he logs in as mine on his? It looks like it's possible, but it might permanently link his EA account on my PS4. Any help is appreciated! So, I have a question about hits Posted: 17 Aug 2020 08:48 PM PDT How long after the opponent lets go of the puck can you not check him? The rules say that you can't check a player who hasn't recently touched the puck. How recently are we speaking? 1 second after he passes? 3 seconds? 10 seconds? Because this affects how aggressive I'll play, and I don't know the exact number. So I'd appreciate it if someone could answer my question [link] [comments] |
