    Franchise mode draft picks

    Im in my second season and i traded my 2020-2021 draft picks for players and i successfully won the stanley cup but i need some more because im trying to focus on rookies, because my whole team is under 30(except adam henrique). You guys know a good way to get lots of draft picks? Im looking for 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 picks.

    Edit: I should mention, i have pretty much neglected my ahl team and its utter garbage. There arent many good players on that team(like 2-3 players with 73 overalls)

    The old commentary from 07-14 with Gary Thorne and Bill Clement was taken for granted, and while it may have never stole the show it wasn't stale and malignant like it has been the past half decade. I find myself turning the volume off completely :/

    The most recent NHL game I have is 13 for the 360. I got a PS4 a year or two ago and I'm debating whether it's worth getting NHL 20 (or waiting until 21).

    Obviously graphics are going to be better and rosters will be updated which isn't a big deal to me. Have there been new offline features added worth the upgrade? I enjoyed be a pro and the GM mode in 13, have these modes been improved at all? Is the AI drastically better in 20 vs 13?

    I tried googling this myself but it's tough to compare games across large time gaps like this. I appreciate any input y'all are willing to give me.

    Its sad that the 2 most requested NHL features are old features... it shows how the game has lost its way in recent years and its very frustrating as a fan of NHL games, it kinda hurt to know NHL 21 was not gonna be a next gen title, I'll bet money that it won't use frostbite or any improved engine for that matter either. I really do hope a new dev team takes over EA NHL games soon and can bring in some new positive ideas to NHL, Rammer did a good job with NHL 09-15 then struggled to develop a truly solid NHL game on this current gen.

    If NHL22 is not on PC, then 21 will be my last NHL game until NHL returns to PC.

    I refuse to spend another $500-$1000 to get a console I will only use for NHL. If I cannot use my PC for NHL by the time they jump ship completely to the new console generation, then I will no longer be a customer of EANHL. I already had to do this shit once with the transition to the current gen, I will not be doing it again. I only use my PS4 for NHL, every other game I own I play on PC.

    How many games do you play in franchise mode?

    I'm playing through a franchise now and it's great but a bit of a slog. I thought about doing some simulation but I'm afraid the results will be thrown all over the place. How many games do you usually play?

    NHL 21 on PS5

    With all that hardware juice on the 5, could we see the first online 100 vs. 100 giant outdoor game? Mountains so realistic you think your actually in the Rocket mountains eh. Golden puck is back babyyyyy, on top of that, diamond pucks count as 10 pts ea.

    Help With Franchise Expansion Draft

    So I might just be an idiot and missing something, but I really hope you guys can help me out.

    So when I start a new franchise and do the expansion draft I get my team all set and exactly how I want it. But for some reason when I go to edit my lines before the preseason it's a completely different team. Like the players are different than the ones I picked (and they were the right ones during all the signing phases and stuff). It's so frustrating because ei haven't been able to play a franchise season because I get frustrated playing with a team I didn't pick!

    So does anyone know what I'm messing up? Thanks for any help! Also this is on NHL 20 if that helps.

    How do you know if you have connection host in Ones?

    I've noticed players tend to quit in the finals game before it starts because they don't have the host connection. How do they know beforehand?
