EA Sports NHL A cool animation for the upcoming Calder race.

I just don't like that ok so you can re-sign with your team or only have 1 choice of a team that's interested in you, NBA 2K has multiple teams interested in you, why can't they implement something like this? My first NHL was NHL 20 and the Free Agency has been the same for years.

New glitch?

Is anyone else getting a glitch where in edit lines in franchise mode, if you substitute a player who is on a special teams line, the menu asking if you want to substitute them in all lines doesn't let you press A? It just traps me there and I had to restart my game and it happened when I tried it again and on multiple controllers. Is it just my game or is this a problem for everyone?

How to defend people that use the right stick to protect the puck really well?

I consider myself pretty solid at defense, but my club play these kids sometimes, usually really high ranked players. They are just INSANE at protecting the puck. They don't really play with any pace they just glide around the zone with the puck held away from you. Obviously if you try to poke it's a trip and if you pick a side and go for the stick check they spin away and it's a mini 2v1 easy cross crease. If you hit them same thing they bounce off and go to the net. Normally I just try my best to stay in front of them and just try to wait them out but it's like it feels so inevitable that if they just keep spinning back and forth and protecting the puck they will score eventually, like they just never lose it. What have you guys found is most effective for beating these guys?

Is it me or are the new Senators logo on the new jerseys from the patch today really small on the jersey? I thought it was bigger than that in real life??

I went through all 31 teams and refreshed their current jersey set. Some teams underwent small changes while others got massive changes. That said, most all teams got an original idea for their alternate. Let me know what you think!

[Franchise] Broken trade valur for good seasons..?

In my first simulation as the Habs, many players on my team were having fantastic years during their first season (most games simulated, I only play 3-4 games per season), which made their trade value sky rocket unreasonably.

Gallagher was having a crazy year (ended up with 97 points) so I traded him along with a 2nd round pick to NYR for Lafrenière (which broke my heart but Laffy to the Habs is just perfect).

Next year, Wennberg (who I signed as a free agent) was having a fair year, but remained an 83 most of the year. At the trade deadline, I swapped to TBL for Sergachev 1 for 1.

Both players went back to their regular forms the next season.

I understand that good point totals for a given season may bring up trade value, but this seems to be a little exagerated, doesn't it?

Obviously I took advantage of the situation and I could have simply not done those trades, so I'm not complaining, but isn't it odd?

Update, yet no new Jerseys?

Booting up the game today, I expected to be able to use the new jerseys for the teams as announced in the patch. Other than the helmet issue mentioned in another thread, I saw it for Calgary... But not Ottawa and Vegas. This is despite the fact I noticed a logo update for Calgary and Ottawa, and saw center ice change.

Did anyone else have this issue?
