    3v3 Eliminator CPU Teammate question

    A friend and I play 3v3 Eliminator but can't ever seem to set our CPU Teammate to play D or to stay back. We are both forwards but the CPU just gives up breakaway after break away and it's really ruined our experince. Rarely do we get to Round 2 (probly 1 out of 6 games), never does the CPU play physical. It's as if the CPU and Goalie are set to Rookie mode.

    I set D to protect net, conservative Attack, doesn't matter. Still gives up breakaway. Worst part is it feels like it's ALWAYS on a gold or blue puck. It's almost as if EA has it set this way.

    Help me out. How do I set the CPU to be useful at least.

    At the end of the 25 years, EA should show you an updated list of the franchise's all time point leaders.

    For example, I played as the Detroit Red Wings. My highest point scorers were:

    Dylan Larkin (1467pts)

    Cole Perfetti (1328pts)

    Filip Zadina (1243pts)

    Luke Hughes (1147pts)

    I know these stats because I took pictures as my players retired. But I'd like to see a list of my highest point scorers and the Red Wings all time point scorers. Kinda like this:

    1. Gordie Howe (1809pts)

    2. Steve Yzerman (1755pts)

    3. Dylan Larkin (1467pts)

    4. Cole Perfetti (1328pts)

    And so on

    Franchise Mode Lineup question

    I know this is going to be a stupid question but do player positions really matter? Like the game will put say Brady Tkachuk at right wing even though he's a left wing or they'll put Texier at left wing when he's a center. I know player types matter but do playing them in the right position matter?

    Franchise mode scouting strategy?

    Does anyone have any decent strategies for draft scouting in franchise mode?.

    Last year I had a solid strategy of spending a month scouting high 1st round picks, a month on low 1st rounders then spent the rest of the season cherry picking prospects to gain knowledge on all sorts of picks, especially sleepers.

    In NHL20 it doesn't seem possible though. Scouting seems to take a lot longer to get any sort of information and scouts seem to focus more on high end picks, leaving very little time and effort for late round picks. Some assignments can take most of the season!

    TL;DR: what are your strategies for scouting in franchise mode this year?

    Looking to play online again in NHL 20's World of CHEL mode. Application for possible club and/or 3v3/6v6 drop-in teammate. PS4 USERS ONLY.

    I'm thinking about playing some online games with dedicated and passionate players who play the game seriously in both individual and team play aspects. The following information below is my application for any club or group of players in need of another dedicated and passionate player.

    I am a right-handed shooting 2-way centreman, I focus my offensive and defensive play mostly in the slot in both zones, but I can switch around on the fly if you're out of position.

    In the offensive zone, expect to see me up near the net either screening the tendy or along the left side of the net waiting for a quick one-timer or a quick pass to a teammate on the far side for an assist chance.

    In the defensive zone, expect to see me cover and tie up the open man sneaking up the slot, average defensive stick positioning preventing passes to the slot and crouch blocks to give extra protection to open shot chances.

    In the faceoff circle, I'm quite average to slightly above average in winning faceoffs. I rarely tie up the opposing centreman, but I can fit that maneuver in my repertoire if needed.

    How does line chemistry work in franchise mode? How do you find players that fit the coaches preferences for each line?

    I'm trying to find a trade for a bottom 6 forward. By opening a players info, and scrolling down I can see a players fit on the line based on preferred strategies (like carry/dump bias, cycle/shoot bias etc). It also shows the coaches preferences. As far as I can tell, manually changing strategies does nothing to affect coach preferences, so you can't craft strategies based on players on a line.

    1) is there any way to figure out the preferred strategies for a player you might trade for? All I can see is what lines they might fit on. Is that all I have to go by?

    2) is there any way to change the coaches preferred line strategies? Is the only way to this is to change your coach?

    Whyyy oh whyy there's always same statistics on both goalies at the start of the game? I'm not a stat nerd but it really grinds my gears when even those are not correct.

    Best Franchise to Rebuild?

    Bought this game for Franchise as usual - what are the best teams to rebuild this year in your opinion? I mean a mostly full-on rebuild - not a team with a stocked prospect cabinet, maybe 1-2 studs on the main team and a few decent prospects here and there.

    Is there really no way to change to a different score clock layout?
