I don't know what has happened but playing online feels so fast that my brains can't follow. It's like fast forwarded. Literally unplayable. And on top of that people rushing like crazy all the time. It's been yrs and i get they'll just create new accounts but you can catch and ban them literally everyday so why not do something over nothing? | Frustrated by AI teammates not forechecking when on the power play Posted: 14 Oct 2019 12:00 AM PDT I play 1v1 against my brother-in-law quite a bit and whenever he wins a faceoff while on the PK, he'll take the puck back behind his net and wait for a forechecker to come at him. The AI backs off entirely, giving him time and space, so he'll take the puck out, and then go for a skate in circles in his own zone. The player I send it tends to be the lone forechecker and everybody else peels back and starts playing defence. It drives me nuts because there's absolutely no reason why you'd ever play this passively on the power play with the puck in the opposing zone. In real life, the forecheckers would be forcing the defender to flip the puck out and make their lives really difficult, not giving them time to skate the puck out of their zone. I've tried changing my tactic to "Full forecheck" on offence which seems to help a bit, but then when the PP is over, I end up giving up a ton of odd man rushes because the forwards are in so deep. | Posted: 13 Oct 2019 11:56 PM PDT Why is it so difficult to consistently win faceoffs this year? I counter the opponents every time and still lose cleanly and effortlessly. It's pretty frustrating considering I was 65%+ on faceoffs all last year and now I'm borderline 50% [link] [comments] |
