    Franchise Mode - Small Rant

    In the intro of a game when the camera is focusing on the goalies the stats that show up are always wrong for goalies. Also, when I score a goal with.. let's say Crosby.. it often says first career goal when it clearly isn't the truth.

    Also replays mid-game.. What is going on here? No big saves or amazing plays gets any replays. Only hits and a view of the boring crowd lol.

    The overall gameplay is awesome this year but there are so many things that feel not as good as last year.

    Expansion Draft Problems

    So I did an expansion draft, explain this to me EA. Let's pretend the expansion draft was today. Do you REALLY expect me to believe that these players would be available...

    • Alex Piterangelo (Best Dman on cup winning team)
    • Joel Edmundson (immediately after signing with Canes)
    • Mark Giordano (captain of his team, literally just won the Norris)
    • Jordan Kyrou (super high potential, still young)
    • Korpisalo AND Merzlikins (why would CBJ not perfect one of them)
    • Brayden Point (Lol yeah right he's available)
    • Oscar Klefbom, Matt Benning, AND Adam Larsson. (the oilers only have like 2 good dmen, you're telling me they didn't protect some of these guys, like not even 1/3 of them?)
    • Bobrovsky (yeah I wouldn't protect the goalie I just spent 10000000000000000 million dollars on either)
    • TJ Oshie (caps would 100% keep him)
    • Jared McCann (once again, Pens would 100% keep him)
    • Alex Debrincat (once again once again once again once again once again, Hawks would 100% keep him)
    • Bo Horvat (literally your captain and one of your 3 best players on the team)
    • Alexander Edler (like your only good Dman)
    • Mirco Mueller (most likely he'd be protected)
    • Anders Lee (literally your captain who you just resigned)
    • Kasperi Kapanen (Lol, he wouldn't be available)
    • Max Domi (once again, lol)

    Now I actually wanted to play realistically. So I didn't take any of these guys. I picked only players that I judged would be realistic to be unprotected. But still. Why are they even available. Like I would love for someone to explain to me why ANY of these people would be available. I could MAYBE understand 1 or 2 of these guys but the odds of these guys being available are virtually zero. Whatever code EA has in place that chooses who teams protect and who they don't protect is so bad. Basically the code is something like this "if the player is over 30 and is being paid more than fuckin' 3 million dollars he's available" and "if he's got insane potential but isn't quite at the NHL level yet he's available". Like I said. I made a bunch of realistic picks, but I could easily had a cup caliber team right out of the draft. That's so stupid.

    Imagine my team if I just wanted to pick best available.

    Domi - Point - Kapanen

    Lee - Debrincat - Oshie

    McCann - Horvat - Kyrou

    Piterangelo - Giordano

    Edler - Klefbom

    Edmundson - Mueller

    Bobrovsky

    Korpisalo or Merzlikins

    Like that team would be insane. Fill out the 4th line and other depth with some vets and FA's, and boom, you've got a playoff caliber team immediately, the best d core in the league by far, with a top 3 goalie, and a likely top 10 forward group, you'd be a cup favourite. And please nobody say that it's "realistic" because look that's what happened to Vegas. Let's be real. Vegas made the cup by having all 18 guys playing WAY above their pay grade. That was a fluke. This team wouldn't be a fluke lol. This would be ridiculous. EA gotta fix their logic hahahaha.

    Did the new patch break the "Zone" camera?

    Anyone else using the "Zone" camera?

    After the patch, it seems to jump between zones a lot more than it used to right after the puck is passed or just puck movement in general.

    It's so bad that I had to change the camera I am using but it was the perfect one for me before. Anyone else uses "zone" camera?

    Be a pro line change issues

    So in the past few nhl titles I've been able to simply press B while on the bench to change lines. This year I cannot figure out what is wrong. Be a pro is set to classic, home and away line changes are set to manual, I've restarted my career multiple times and still can't get the line changes to work. Next to my stamina bar I have the prompt to press B but it does nothing.

    Has anyone else experienced this or am I just doing something wrong.

    Hockey fights cancer jerseys removed?
