    Best three's defensive strategy?

    In NHL 19 I was always a defender and I was very at good holding R1 and sweeping my stick to knock the puck away from skaters. That does not work very well at all in NHL 20 and I'm struggling like crazy to play solid D. Stick lift seems to work well if you're very close.

    What are you guys doing? Should I just hit R1 and not try to hold it and swipe around? Do I need to learn how to hit and do that or stick lift?

    I’m playing goalie in the drop-ins and my skill rank is not affected after the games

    I tried to play as a goalie for fun and was just wondering if anyone has had the same issue. The other teams so far have not had a human goalie in the net.

    No commentary / other sounds?

    I just got nhl20 last night and I've even reinstalled it twice. There's no commentary no matter what I do. Also missing other sound effects? Anyone else run into this issue?

    BAP All-Time Points Leaderboard

    I recently created a spreadsheet to track my BAP statistics across my career and was curious if anyone else was interested specifically in the All-Time leaderboard portion of the sheet since NHL doesn't give us those benchmarks to compare to.

    NHL 19 crashing at menu

    NHL 19 keeps crashing at the start up menu now. It will crash after it hits the main menu and I don't press anything (after a few seconds) or when I press play now when it's a pinned mode.

    Now I'm not one for conspiracy theories but this has started happening once NHL 20 came out.

    I've uninstalled it and re-downloaded it and still have the same issue. Any else have this problem before?

    Ive had the rating for 10 seasons, maybe more. Out of all the seasons, I made the finals once and lost. After the finals appearence (probably 3rd season w/ champion) I have either missed the playoffs or got bumped in the 1st round, no matter if I was 1st, 2nd, or 2nd wildcard in the division. Ive had all 88+ players in my top 6 and all 80+ in my bottom 6 until the last 2 seasons, ive had 80+ top 4 d with usually one 86+ player and a solid 6 overall, and to top it off, an 88+ goalie every season. Ive gone through numerous coaches, line changes, trades, veterans, 18 year old franchise players, EVERYTHING, and I have yet to get past the 1st round in 7-8 seasons.

    Really need help with versus

    I don't know if there was a tuner update or something but for the last two or three weeks versus has been complete non stop annoying.

    There's a new thing people can do where you literally just skate into the opposing zone doing left and right dekes with the right stick, and there is nothing I can do to stop it. Poke check and stick lift do nothing, and when you try to hit them they just bounce off.

    Every game for the last probably 30 games I am hemmed in my zone because I can't do anything to defend the slow skating left right deke.

    Am I missing something? It is driving me completely crazy. I am a decent player, been playing for years. I'm not just learning the game for the first time, and it wasn't like this when it first came out.

    I am so goddamn frustrated. Versus is all I play and it is becoming nearly unplayable because of this garbage.
