    Changing player type in franchise mode NHL20

    When I edit a player's type (playmaker, sniper etc), the change doesn't seem to show up in my edit lines screen. The original player type is shown there. Wondering if anyone else has noticed this or if maybe I'm doing something wrong.

    I was down 7-0 in online vs and came back to win it 9-8 in OT. I thought it was over when my opponent made it 8-2, but I'm glad I kept playing. I tied it up 8-8 with five minutes left while on the BP. Guy started playing dirty and took several penalties, giving me 5-on-3 for several minutes. I won it in 5-on-3. Stars vs Blues (me, home).

    If NHL97 on sega can have a skills comp, why can’t EA add it 23 years later?

    We have had all star skills competition in games dating back to the 90s as well as in the 2k hockey franchise.

    Would be a fun feature i think but I guess it just goes to show the EA laziness.

    I want to get my created team into franchise mode as an expansion team, but instead of the expansion, I want a fantasy draft.

    The only think I can think of is replacing an existing team in the NHL with my created ones.

    Ok, so this year more than ever it seems like people establish possession in the zone and then fo nothing but skate around until they either get a short side snipe opening or a back door one timer. Now, I'm not saying this is a bad strategy, but it seems some people have no backup plan. I've played 5 games in a row where each of my opponents had 7 minutes or more time on attack and less than 14 shots. Only one of them scored. Why wouldn't you try something else when your opponent takes away both options. Why not try to shoot for rebounds or a d to d one timer or something? It's just baffling playing games where I have half the time on attack, out shoot them by at least 5 shots and score 6 times and they just keep doing what isn't working. Anyone have an answer?

    Best players in the AHL?

    Just started the pre-season of my second season and I noticed while playing my first preseason game, all my young guys were on the nhl roster but my NHL starters (staahl, Duclair, oleniak, fleury, etc etc) were nowhere to be found.. after the game I checked my AHL roster and that's where all my starters are... Anyone know why this happened or is it just because it's preseason and those types of established players don't typically play and will be on the nhl roster at the start of the regular season??

    Is it possible to penalise all players on the team at the same time?

    Can you make all players commit penalising fouls on the same play? Because it seems EA has a limit to how many players can be penalised at once.
