    How do you turn down "checking from behind" penalties?

    I had 4 players in my franchise get misconducts in the FIRST period for cursing from behind. I don't see any sliders under the Penalties tab to adjust this.

    What’s the fastest way to upgrade my player in be a pro mode? Because at this point I should be closer to 87 I believe.

    I have 202 points over the last four seasons as a defensive man, mind you that's me playing I have to season in my third and, first season, and only eight in my second.

    I'm an 83 overall whereas rob BarLett A player New Jersey drafted 2 years ago in the 2020 draft, he's already a 94 overall at the age of 20 I have more points than him and played less games.

    What can I do? Currently I'm leading the team in points with 50 after 22 games.

    Hey y'all,

    I swore off the EA franchise after NHL13, but every few years I pick it up and run through a GM Mode career because I love hockey more than I hate EA. A pandemic seemed like a good excuse to see if the game has gotten any better. The most recent game crash seemed like a good sign it hasn't, and an excuse to stop by and see if it's the game that's fucked or I'm just rusty?

    Mostly I'm here about contracts. For years it used to be you could offer 85% to a player and they'd take a hometown discount. Is this still a thing? Or is the dollars/term they want very fixed now? I'm interested in the real nuts-and-bolts, like if anyone knows the % modifiers on contract length v. salary? Or has it just reverted to "give me what I want or fuck off"?

    If anyone has any good tips for what's changed in the last 7 years, I'd appreciate that too. I generally just play a franchise, sim the games and step in when they're losing, so I'm not interested in the other parts of the game. But things that affect the GM mode and the gameplay would be appreciated. Has anyone mapped out what line combos work best

    Also, randomly, I was just in my second draft and for the first time noticed an emerald medallion on a random goalie. It was on the right side of his name bar. I didn't have him tagged or anything special. WTF is that?

    Every fucking coach: C overall, offer him assistant AHL coach position -> "sorry, i feel the role you've offered me is not reflective of my skills"

    Like fucking seriously? You're a c overall coach, you don't deserve anything better than assistant coach of my AHL team you donkey

    Or the other one: 'I don't feel the size of your market is what I'm looking for,' as I offer a D level coach an associate AHL coach job as the recent Stanley Cup champions the Colorado Avalanche

    I don't know if it's just me or if I'm just frustrated but I feel like every time my friend and I play club 3's games the cpu goalies seem completely unbalanced. We'll outshoot another team 40-10 and lose 2-3 even though our chances are just as good if not better than the other teams. This happened in a 3 games we played yesterday out of 6/7 that we played and happened in the first game we played today. The goalie named King has been the one in net for the other team each time this has happened. It's super frustrating to do everything right and outplay the other team in almost every aspect of the game just to lose due to a cpu goalie. Has anyone else noticed this?

    Unexpected Errors in EASHL

    Hey guys, used to play these games religiously but skipped 18, played 19 exactly once, and only recently got back into NHL20. I keep getting kicked from games with an "unexpected error". I've tried resetting my PlayStation and my internet connection several times as well as relocating the PlayStation to a better area of the house. Is this a common problem with the game or is it an issue on my end? I've tried just about everything short of actually calling EA or my internet service provider. If anyone has any tips on how to fix this I'd appreciate it!

    FWIW I have very good internet at my house and it works perfectly with every other game and device I own. I never lose connection to PSN, just from the EA servers. It's very frustrating.

    Hi, after years I tried NHL on PS4 again. I played 21 matches online 1v1 (teams).

    Each match is played on one type of goal. Players don't even try to score a goal from the break. AI attacks, players thicken the zone in front of the goal. Every match like a copier.

    Trying to combine in the attack zone on the defender is suicide.

    I have borrowed the game and gladly return it.
