Ovi, why won’t you pass me the puck?? Because you didn’t text me back

Exactly what we all asked for

    This is way too easy

    Posted: 24 Aug 2020 01:49 AM PDT

Let's take a moment and think about our guy here who still wears a Bauer 5100 helmet which came out in 2009. It's not even in the game anymore.

How can I have a 48 plus/minus, most points, most goals and still get demoted to the fourth line?!?

    [Disscusion] Connected General manager mode.

    Posted: 24 Aug 2020 10:47 AM PDT

Why is it that every year we are neglected to the most basic fundamental interests in Chel? Connected franchise mode has been in Madden for years now. Why can't we see that in these hockey games. The hashtag #FixMaddenFranchise was trending on twitter which ultimately led to the company coming out w a public response. I refuse to spend another $70 on another recycled franchise mode.

NHL 21 this all sounds great but...

I need to know if the ability to hit after the whistle in EASHL will be coming back. The best part of that mode is hearing the whistle and seeing someone relax off the joystick so I can run through them. It was a mini game itself to see if you could get that hit off before the cpu took over. lol

did Ovi dirty with this half-assed cover

Something I didn’t notice from the trailer until I watched Nashers breakdown is it looks like they’re allowing custom color graphics now for skates.

For the love of God, EA, please let us have present strategies for all modes

    Posted: 24 Aug 2020 09:59 AM PDT

    preset

Why why why do we have to do that every single game.

    NHL 21 Reveal Trailer

Hut will be the death of me.

    Posted: 24 Aug 2020 09:05 AM PDT

I fucking can't stand this game mode. Bunch of kids buying packs to win, dumb as fuck modes, and sweaty players that don't try anything but cross crease goals. I think the be a pro was a good attempt to get me and other people back but it's far from enough. Until micro transactions aren't a thing ( I know it never will because it's EA) I'm out. I can't buy into this anymore.

Biggest Changes Coming to NHL 21

    Should I buy NHL 21?

    Posted: 24 Aug 2020 10:53 AM PDT

    Hello there.

    general kenobi

I haven't purchased an NHL game since probably NHL 16. I used to buy the game every single year. Every year since the early 2000s. Maybe with age, or over saturating my cravings for the game, I just found that the game felt less and less new each year. The changes were so minuscule, that it stopped becoming worth it to buy the game at full price on release date even though I was making more money working full time into my late 20s and early 30s.

Has the game changed enough in the last 5 years to make this purchase worth it? I've watched gameplay videos from last year's and it doesn't seem like there has been much improvements. The game modes are still unpolished (be a gm, be a pro, those are the main 2 I enjoy playing the most) which sounds absolutely ridiculous given that these modes have been out for OVER A F*&ING DECADE. I do play HUT every year too, and that's fun, but I was getting annoyed in building my team every year only to start from scratch the next year.

As someone who has played the NHL games from NHL 16 to NHL 20, and plan on buying NHL 21, is there something that I can look forward to that can get me excited to buy this game again and sink some hours into?
