    For me Pro difficulty is way too easy, All Star is too hard. Been this way for a while now. Finding the middle ground for a challenging yet fair game mode is a nightmare

    How often do you sim Be A Pro Games?

    When playing Be A Pro how often do you sim games? I know older versions you would be demoted if you simmed too many so I'm curious what a good balance is? Play 1 of every 3 games or so?

    I want to move my career along a bit quicker than having to play every game, even at the quick settings for game speed.

    SOLUTION - Defense Line Chemistry

    Team Management --> Contracts --> View Player. The defensive line chemistry comes up properly this way with the 3 defensive lines (pinch, shoot, cycle balanced), not the 4 forward lines schemes.

    Kind of a pain, but at least it gives you better refence to where there best suited.

    Is there any slider or other means to make teammates shoot more un BaP?

    Basically title. Apart from the defensive ai players being from two different leagues depending if they play in your team or against you, the one most frustrating thing in the game is how your teammates constantly pass up good shooting opportunities, especially from the point. I know I can call for a shot with r1, but this often leads to the d man taking a weak backhander instead of using the time and space they have to shoot a wrister or God forbid even a slapshot to generate rebounds/tips.

    Question about Line Chemistry and Development

    This is the first NHL I have got since 18 and I have a few things I'm wondering:

    1. For Line Chemistry does it apply when you are playing by yourself or only for simming and if I change the strategies does it affect that in the sense that even if it says +5 or +3 does it apply while I play?

    2. For Player development rookies and that does line chemistry and the coaching have any affect on a players overall increase.

    I really wish there was some way to research these like EA could give u like this is how it works or a general idea lmao. I looked through reddit but couldn't find any definitive answer as well

    HUT is one of the biggest ''Pay to win'' I've ever seen

    After one week and a 4-1-1 record, I can tell that I'm already done with this mode.

    The 89 cards that were given for the first two weeks are way too OP vs the rest of my line-up (bunch of 83 overall) and there is no «relax mode» since they removed Seasons.. This mode is a L for casual players, and I think it's one of the biggest problems of it

    Be A Pro Period Length

    I usually prefer to play 20 min full authentic style BAP on superstar where it's hard and challenging but not impossible but having trouble dialing in different sliders. See a handful of ppl saying to shorten period length since the pace is so fast compared to real NHL.

    Missing Alumni

    I just want to ask this question so I'm not insane, are there alumni removed from this years NHL compared to NHL 20? Because for the life of me I can't find Pavel Datsyuk anywhere in the game, not on the wings alumni team or international or anywhere. If they did remove some alumni, how stupid that would be.

    I’m still playing NHL20, aside from HUT and BAP, is there really a significant difference in gameplay from 20 vs. 21? I really don’t want to spend $60 on a few minor gameplay updates.

    Hey all. I'm going to try to make this short and to the point. So when I first made my BAP, it said I could use it in WOC because it was a "Common Pro" or something like that. I made my pro a left handed shot in BAP, but EA made it a righty in WOC. I couldn't find the thing to change it so if you all could help. That would be great.

    I made a Glorious Mistake

    Ive been struggling to stay interested with my franchise mode this season. Restarted about 3 different times and just cant stay motivated to play because of small nitpicky issues with my CATs.

    Last night I decided to Restart again this time to take over an existing Franchise, but with a twist. I was editing some Rosters when I had the thought... it would be fun to toss some of these Retired Alumni in a franchise and see what happens. At first I thought, "Just 1 star, and an Enforcer or 2" Ala Gretzky + Semenko / Yzerman + Probert. I also threw in some of my other favorites from my childhood like Scott Parker & Bryan Marchment.

    I started the Franchise up and to my surprise....

    All of the Alumni Players I added had their Age reduced to 26 or 27.

    Now I didnt know that would happen. I thought I'd get 1 season out of them and they'd just retire and it would be a "haha that was fun" kinda thing; instead it came as a complete surprise to me and totally changed the idea. So much so that I got excited, deleted that Franchise and went back to add ALL THE NAMES to the teams I remembered.

    I probably spent 3 hours straight organizing Alumni Players to a team and making sure I didn't have duplicates. Ive got Mark Messier & Chelios back on the Rags. Scott Gomez back in NJ with Brodeur & Neidermeyer. Forsberg, Tanguay, Sakic, and Roy back in Colorado! Yzerman & Crew, the Broadstreet Bullies are in, Mario Lemieux is going to be feeding Crosby. I put Gretzky back in Edmonton because... F-The Kings, but they can have Luc Robitaille & Rob Blake. Brett Hull is back on the Blues with Pronger, Lindros will make his Comeback with the Flyers.. although Im sure he'll still be playing with his head down.

    I am legitimately excited to go back tonight and start putting shots on Roy, Belfour, Richter, & Cujo like I did back in the 90s. Dont get me wrong, this really screwed with the Rosters & put a massive imbalance on things. But to be honest, I just needed to breath some life into this edition and I accidentally fell onto a way thats got me as Giddy as the Christmas day I plopped NHL 99 into my old Nintendo 64.
