| Posted: 24 May 2021 10:53 AM PDT I've played nearly 100 games in Ones eliminator, with a record of 24-47-22. I've advanced to the finals only twice, and have lost both times against players who skate circles around me. I'm really going for the Ones Eliminator trophy, but each loss is making it apparent that I just may not be able to platinum this game. I've tried playing as a dangler, a sniper, and the enforcer defenseman, but I usually settle with a power forward. Anybody got any tips to help? [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 24 May 2021 01:36 AM PDT In NHL20 i was consistently a top 2,000 ranked player on Online Versus, but for whatever reason in NHL21 i cannot seem to get the hang of it. I'm about at a 50/50 win loss rate, and i'm consistently losing games and it's getting REALLY frustrating. Since the change in game has there been any noticeable changes in gameplay mechanics or technique? I am so bad it's not even funny how god-awful i am. The game feels completely different than it's prior iteration but i can't exactly put my finger onto why that is exactly. *As a side note, how do you set up your strategies? i used to go full-attack with a tight point defence, but lately i feel as if the AI can't be trusted to play aggressive/ forecheck, but i don't know if that's just me [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 23 May 2021 11:21 PM PDT So I'm a complete noob at franchise mode in chel 21, but I've had to completely reorganize my roster multiple times and it's annoying me. Every few games my top lines (Crosby and Malkin) get sent to the ahl and I have to unscratch a bunch of players and I can not find a way to fix this. Maybe there's a setting to turn this off but even then I think it's dumb that this is happening. [link] [comments] |

I have very fast internet but can't ever have better than 69 ping because I'm playing on east servers. Anyone have a fix for this? I know very little about the sport other than it's exciting to watch and what little I've picked up during my short time watching. I picked up NHL and have a few super noob questions:
