| A little missing code goes a long way (backwards, into your own zone, then BP in the corner) Posted: 06 May 2021 09:47 AM PDT So not sure if this was intentional or not, but here goes. BaP. So, it's a mode where you are basically playing 1 player, but all 5 positions. So you have to do everything BUT goaltend. Get a pokecheck on the computer, they still come away with it. Sit on opposing C's head in the slot, with 4 other defensive helpers, (its like watching DragonBall) instantly open and goal. Actually get control of the puck in the D zone, and breakout... what's a breakout? BaP at opposing blue line, with both other forwards, D takes it back into zone and pins it in corner. Or forwards who shouldn't EVER try to dangle doing it EVERY time across the blue line, getting smoked, and then turnover. Then chase the computer back into the D zone and start over. Then finally get to the bench, and coach gives you negative reviews because your linemates are obviously paid by the other team... [link] [comments] |

| How do I score on breakaways on All-Star? Posted: 06 May 2021 10:55 AM PDT I think they nerfed the one hander which used to be my go to vs AI and I just can't score. All the new and old dekes don't work on AI goalies, trying to just shoot has literally never worked for me, and I've scored on one backhand forehand in the last two games, AI goalies on All-Star difficulty just always spread eagle and stop it. | We should have the choice to refuse line promotions Posted: 05 May 2021 10:46 PM PDT I literally started my latest Be a Pro because I wanted to be the perfect right wing for Taylor Hall and David Krejci on the Bruins' second line. But now, despite how well we've played together, my coach thinks putting me on my off wing with Bergeron and Pastrnak while demoting Marchand and moving Hall to his off wing is what's best for the team. It's ridiculous and I don't want to have to resort to purposely playing like shit to correct it. [link] [comments] |

| A lengthy rant, but worth the read Posted: 06 May 2021 02:09 AM PDT Why do you think someone would take the time to send you a message that clearly shows that they're very upset/frustrated/ basically pissed off at you?!? It's an 80-20 % ( if not worse I swear) percentile of degenerates (80%) who are apparently all so unaware, so ignorant of their toxicity as online opponents - the way they play the game ; the way they exploit the game in so many ways; the typical commonly found "douche baggery" which has honestly spread like such a cancer and ultimately RUINED this game. A lot of you say ' oh I just turn messages off' why? Why do you do that? Is it because you know that by CHOOSING to play the douche baggery style which apparently is referred to as "skill" by the majority here is absolutely disgraceful & it just amazes me how so many are apparently 'unaware' & know that someone who just lost to you is pissed off because you know and he knows that you relied so heavily on chasing the same exact exploitation abuse relentlessly Most of you are of a younger generation here , you never grew up playing in the SAME room as your opponents- 'glitch' goals, repetitive exploitation; general douche baggery has ALWAYS been in EA's game; hell- the short side glitch has been in the game since 94 ( it's in the game!) Ask yourself what would happen when a bunch of buddies would get together , smoke bowls ; play sega genesis nhl for hours- what would happen to the douche bag who'd use douche baggery over & over ? You know that a charley horse was coming in hard if said douche baggery continued So ask yourself when you play; and implement your god squad , go fast up the boards cross crease; repeat this , again ; and again, and yet again; try nothing else ; look at the detailed shot attempt stat page & notice that you've had 20 shots, but the shot indicator icon is a hot spot of icons ALL 4 feet from goal line ( last few years this hot spot was a little further out either side as the 'short side glitch' was the 'skilled go to exploit move) Laughable. Absolutely pathetic Man more than half of you guys don't even know the pain of losing a best of 7 Rock Paper Scissors battle to see who'd be the home team; because when you lost - you'd have to play attacking DOWN for two periods Bottom line; it's such a sad thing to see most everyone embrace the douche baggery I wish you all who do this would realize just how cancerous , negative & toxic the scripted exploitation you all beat to death repetitively is They should implement an opponent voting rank for players to rate their opponents. Sure there may be some clowns who will always give you a poor rating, that's just the common no accountability douche baggery that occurs online as well; but after a few hundred games ; with a larger sample size ; if someone is consistently rating you a 0 out of 5 due to repetitive exploitation abuse & toxic play; ragging , flipping puck over etc they should honestly permanently ban all you toxic fools. The fact that the game doesn't automatically boot douche bags by noticing and picking up on the various douche baggery; is what's more concerning to me Ea basically doing nothing to curb, reduce & ultimately eliminate these from the game is absolutely pathetic and basically it's them saying ' we don't care for ethics, accountability, fair play, ' they continue to reward exploitation abuse and abusers How's that for a rant heya fellas? (Franchise Mode) Posted: 05 May 2021 04:02 PM PDT My top player recommended a new coach so I fired my head coach during the regular season but it wouldn't let me leave the coach menu without promoting a coach to HC. Now, I'm trying to hire this coach but he won't accept because the position is already filled but it won't let me leave the HC slot open? What do I do? [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 05 May 2021 01:23 PM PDT So I've come across a bug where the AI teammates will not register passing to my player. One period, or shift, they'll make every pass request, but then I'll get a penalty, or a fight, and they'll then act like I'm not there and won't register a single pass request. I've also noticed this happening on the change of period as well. Anyone have an solutions or fixes for this? [link] [comments] |
