    OOTL question

    I haven't played this series for years, but I've got a quick question:

    Back in the day you could create your own team and multiple players. Basically, I want to create a new stupid team full of my jerk friends. Is that still doable with these recent games? In NHL20?

    Why aren’t NHL players’ hockey pants licensed when every other piece of equipment is?

    NHL20 BAP: Improve Skating & Discipline?

    Anyone know if any way to improve your skating outside of endurance? I know agility can be improved with stride dekes. Speed I've heard can be improved by beating icing, but at 6'9" and 79 speed, I won't be doing that much.

    I pretty much focus my weekly off ice training on improving skating. I'd like some faster progression though. Still in the CHL, first season. About halfway through.

    Also, I keep taking penalties as hard as I try not to. My discipline is tanking, down to 72. Any way to boost it outside the skill tree?

    My 2020 Be a Pro review

    Context: - It is the only mode I play - I skipped NHL 19 (some coming straight from NHL 18)

    We all know the minuses, that lack of investment in a real story mode or even little features like NHL records. But still I'm glad I bought the game, given that I skipped a year, there are a lot of little improvements:

    • The physics improved a bit (skating, pick pickups, etc)
    • Commentary is a lot more detailed. I liked whatshisname the previous commentator style, but there are a lot more lines for particular situations. Like there were at least two lines for the very specific situation of a rookie scoring in my first game. Not only when I scored but talking about it again at the end of the game. Nice. More of this please!
    • Given my two year gap, I notice a lot of small but meaningful AI improvements. Defensive players not flumoxed bringing pick from behind own net. On defense low boards, a lot less dim AI blind-pass behind our own net. Similar smarts added in the offensive zone, if I drive to the net in tight quarters, the wingers are more intelligent, more likely to try the tough but good play. Somewhere in the bowels of EA there an unappreciated person who slaves away over small AI improvements. Well I notice, and I appreciate. Thanks AI maestro!
    • While the mode does need big work, the skill tree (maybe came in 19?) is better than nothing.

    Still my favorite game, really hoping this is the year that EA seriously invests in the mode!

    I'm guessing not as I can't find an option, but I unlocked a cool legendary stick that I don't want the tape to cover at all.

    How to move exempt contracts to my minor league team?

    My minor league team had 8 wins last season. I want to move my exempt contracts to the minor league team but have no idea how. This is hurting the development of my players. I have a coach with 60% fit but like 3 wins 15 games into the season.

    Can females fight in nhl 20?

    Just found out the reason i can't fight. cuz apparently you're not allowed to. Just wanna kick some ass and not have to restart my season. I have 19 rn but i might trade it in and spend a bit if they add pronouns and ability to brutally injure people regardless of gender.

    Little side note, i know the announcers got changed. so they might have added the above voice wise. Just wondering are they better than the boyos in the last few games. cheers fellow epic gamers

    edit: i was just thinking if nhl 20 will get the little events that popped up in 14 i think it was. Like pranking your team mates going for drinks with the boys and endorsments and such.
