I'm looking to get into Hockey in general so I picked up NHL 20. I was wondering what mode I should play first? So far I've kind of been playing around with quick play just trying to get somewhat functional, but I can't seem to win any games yet (only played 3-4 games so far). Thanks.

Why are penalties 2 minutes real-time? How to change it so they are as long as the rest of the period?

Is there setting to make your CPU defenseman not try and play wing? I tried setting our strategy to passive and normal but every time he just rushes the puck/is at the point in the defensive zone. Just trying not to get cucked by EA anymore.

Online Versus Competitive Rating Points

Something that's been happening lately that didn't used to happen. I lose a close game where I have the edge in every category but goals and I'll lose 9 competitive rating points. Yet if I win a game and do really well in all categories I only win 2 or 3 points. Why is this?

I'm in a good lobby on 3v3 for once and and my team plays well together. After the game I go to ready up with the others. When another person starts matchmaking, it shows everyone else is in game and I'm stuck looking at the lobby.

Anyone else with this issue? It's happened a few times lately for me.

Shots Don't Aim

I've been playing since NHL 12 and barely had an issue with aiming. Now it seems more than half of my shots dont go ANYWHERE near where I'm aiming. Been doing same thing for 8 years. Did anything change? I can't find a setting. Or did EA just crap the bed and make a game that caters to 6 year olds and get rid of aiming?
