    NHL 20 NHL 21

    I feel it should be incredibly hard to pull off - harder than the one-handed tuck for sure.

    I think it should be done much like the 'puck flip' off of the 'datsuyk deke'.

    Fake Shot + pull down on RS + tapping R1.

    In the case of the Lacrosse Goal, maybe you need to time R1 perfectly combined with, of course, a very high puck control / deke attribute.

    NHL 21 Suggestion - SKIP IT

    This might be an unpopular opinion, but hear me out.

    I think EA should skip NHL 21.

    Let's be honest, it's quite easy to tell that the game is a clunky mess. The loading screens are abysmal, the menu trees are convoluted and too deep (how many windows do you have to go through to change your player's hat?), the gameplay is alright considering the complex physics involved, but there are lots of bugs and it's the same old rehashed game every single year.

    I propose that we give EA a break. Let some unpaid intern update rosters for the 2020 • 2021 season, and EA can offer a pre-purchase deal to make up for some lost funds. EA might take a little hit in the Chel department, but it will pay off. Hockey is a growing sport, so the game is destined to grow as well. I'm sure EA, the multi-billion dollar company, could afford to make a small investment into one of its niche games.

    Not to mention, we have new consoles hitting shelves in 11 months. EA should take the time, and do things right for a change.

    NHL series is still the worst overall sports game currently.

    I love chel. Been playing the games since 2006 but wow the game needs a lot of work and polishing.

    -Menu screen is very slow and just looks straight outdated compared to 2k, madden, and fifa.

    -The game feels the same every year they do not change a single game play mechanic but play with set tuners and small animation fixes

    -Competitive search still can't find someone in your skill

    -The whole arena and fans look unrealistic and corny as fuck. The arena main display says "Clap, Clap, Clap"

    I could go on and on. EA puts to effort into the NHL games and it shows. Same damn game every year.

    My game freezes and I can't move my player. When the connection stables, I see all the jukes and deekes that the opponent does. It's only affecting me. Why is that?

    It's happening more and more. Been like this the past 3 games. Even gave up a goal from freezing in their offensive line

    I've tried to change directions and just hold it left or right but my guys just skate forward. I'm literally unable to do anything but they skate like it's not affecting them.

    Faceoff and Passing Tips?

    Never really had problems winning faceoffs or with passing until 3-4 weeks ago, and I'm not improving at all. Not sure if they made any changes or if I just got bad all of a sudden. Bottom line is though, losing draws 25-4 every game and having a 55% passing percentage isn't cutting it and is losing me a ton of games. Maybe its a controller problem, but I hope not since I don't want to go drop 80 bucks on a new one, so I come to you seeking any advice at all. Thanks.

    Winter Classic

    Ok so one thing that I think should be re-added to the game is the Winter Classic. Make it a preload in the thing where if your game is downloading and is "ready to start" you can play as one of the two teams in the winter classic. Then you can add in the jerseys for the winter classic which would be even better because sometimes I just wanna do fun stuff like that.

    Online Versus Play - Is There a Way to Save Line & Strategy Edits?

    Everytime I play OVP, I need to edit my lines and strategies. However, I am unaware of any way to have this saved (obviously roster updates happen and I would need to edit the roster again) for the next time I sign on and play; but I'm asking anyone who may know what I am going through and could possibly help.     Just starting in on some EASHL games, trying to get some decent Dman builds and the play styles people use them for. Trying out a TWD with booming slapper 2 and heavy hitter 2. Do you use the same build for 3s and 6s?

    Have the All-Star jerseys and National team jerseys been updated to current ones in Nhl20? I dont have the game yet and it has bugged me the last few games that we dont have the current Adidas and Nike All-Star and National jerseys.

    Am I the only one who managed to score a Goalie goal on a guarded net on NHL Hockey for the Sega Game Gear?

    So yesterday, I was playing NHL Hockey for the Sega Game Gear on an emulator as the Maple Leafs in a game against the Canucks. Eventually when Felix Potvin caught the puck, I shot it across the arena at an slight angle and into the Vancouver net while there was a goalie on that side too. I don't have any photo or video evidence since I didn't have my phone with me at the time and I'm sorry for that. Did anyone else have that similar experience on that game on the Game Gear or any other EA NHL game?

    Franchise: Do goalies ever get above .900 save % anymore.. ?

    It's honestly frustrating to have a goalie who puts up about 2 good seasons in their time with my team. Whether it's the backup, who NEVER has above .900%, or my starter who has one good season in 4 years.. Annoys me so much
