Previously, anything from 0-80ms used to fall in the "Good" ping bracket, which is just nuts. You'd enter a game with really no clue as to how bad the lag was going to be. Could be a smooth 20ms, or a really heavy 78ms. Now it seems that 60+ms is considered "fair" which has been so useful in terms of avoiding games with bad connections. I wish they'd just put the actual ping in the pre-match lobby (measured in ms), but this is a close second. [link] [comments] |

Everytime he loads it up now he gets to the title screen and hits A/X and it just loads. After restarting the console a few times with no success, I told him his best bet would be reinstalling the beta. What do you guys think? Update: His NHL 20 is doing the same thing. Hmm. Im doing this in practice mode with my dangler build. The problem is I never lift the puck. At first I thought my deking wasn't high enough (90) but then I applied the dirty dangles trait (95 deking) and nothing has changed. Posted: 31 Aug 2020 06:33 PM PDT It's not an actual beta like other years, I see people slamming it for just being NHL 20, but they've been very open that this isn't representitive of the final release, it's a server stress test. If they decide to not do an open beta at all, wait until a bit after launch and then make your call, but to shit on a technical test like it's the full release is disingenuous 🤷 [link] [comments] |
| Trying to remember this one kind of deke and how to do it Posted: 31 Aug 2020 10:12 PM PDT Hey so im a long time player who recently stopped playing nhl games at a difficulty that isn't beginner or rookie haha. Let's just say im very bad now. Ive been playing world of chel and everyone is doing this one move and nothing else. Someone said in game that its just a simple deke. Basically you swerve one direction and very quickly turn to the other direction to score. I dont remember which one is offhand but the second direction feels like a huge stretch and a huge distance. Im sorry if im not being clear. Whenever I look up deking guides on youtube it never shows this. That one person told me its because its too simple and common to be on a video like that. Any ideas?
